Although Body Shop products can seem a little on the expensive side, they are of a very good quality for what you pay.
The Tea Tree Oil facial wash is gentle enough for anyone to use, and effective enough to help control severe acne.

i know youre thinking why did i give this quality a 1.5 out of 5 when i say you should def. repurchase and its a great price and works well? well its only one reason i thought this cleanser is AMAZING!!! and its SOO WORTH THE PRICE its so cheap for so much product and worked amazing on my skin except the scent is so strong it literally gave me a headache when i used it :(!

I started using this about 6 months ago. the smell is, as previously said, rather strong, but I personally like it. Quite possibly this is due to my skin type, but it somewhat dries my skin like if I dont moisturize intensely and right after i use it. but other than that, it keeps my skin free of impurities. I found that it is most effective when used with other products of the same line

I thought this product was great. It's awesome for eliminating blemishes and works well for acne prevention. I did notice my skin felt drier after use but my moisturizer seemed to eliminate any dryness.

i will be using 3rd bottle of this cleanser ,i kinda like that strong smell or may b m use to it now .
it worked great at first for my blemishes ,they disappeared and i was so happy that i bought 2 more bottles offcorse in sale :)
but when i used this product in winter GOsh dont ask it made my oily/comibination skin super dry with dry patches around my eyes ..
so i disconitued it for winter but will take it out in summer again :) for sure.

For years I searched for a product to work for my extremely oily skin. I tried nearly every brand of facial cleanser, to no avail. On a whim, I decided to try the Body Shop product, as, at the time, it was new and on special. It turned out that this was exactly what I was looking for. Just a little bit of the cleanser (truly, not more than a pea sized amount) is plenty to get my skin feeling clean and oil free for the majority of the day! The bonus is that it a regular sized bottle will last at least 3 months, due to not needing to use a huge amount. 5 years later, I'm still using this product, with fantastic results every time. I haven't had a severe breakout since before I started using it, and it keeps occasional flare ups under control. The price is a little high, but for something that doesn't need to be bought frequently, it is fantastic .

I used to use Clean and Clear morning burst scrubs along with the rest of their line of face scrubs. Once I tried the Tea tree night cream and day cream I decided to try their face wash too. In terms of price, it ended up coming around the same price on sale (I got my face wash for $8) except there was a greater quantity in the tea tree face wash. It's light green in color and has the distinct strong smell of Tea tree oil which i've started liking the more I use it. It lathers up on my face really well. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of exfoliating I was getting. I fixed that though by just buying a loofa and cutting it into a small square that I use to exfoliate my skin.

As for the affects on my skin. It really cleans up any makeup I have on and leaves my skin feeling slightly tingly and very fresh. It doesn't over dry my skin to much which some of the other face washes tend to do. It also doesn't over moisturize creating the perfect balance. Alone I don't feel it does the greatest job in eliminating blemishes, but in combination with the Tea tree night cream and day cream, it does wonders! I use it three times a day (I hate it when my skin gets oily so I wash it more than most people will) which is why I love that it doesn't over dry my skin. Once again, like any of the other Body Shop products, it's best just to wait around for a sale to come (which doesn't take too long) and then buy the products! :)

The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Face Wash (250 ml) for less than $15; again I bought this item when it was on sale. I use this face wash 2 times a day, and it lasts for me about 4 months. The smell is difficult to stand at first but it grew on me. It is a nice cleanser, with lots of lather, but it does not remove all 'impurities' (i.e. foundation) from my skin. After washing my face I have to use a toner; if I didn't I would break out. I would not repurchase this product.

A great wash that I can even share with my husband. It leaves your skin feeling tingly without being too tight and your blemishes vanish with in a few days. What is really nice is that if you run out of shower gel you can use it on your body too - gets rid of ingrown hairs when you shave or any little blemishes you may have on your back. One of The Body Shop's best kept secrets - spread the word!!

I love The Body Shop's Tea Tree line! I use this facial wash everyday as a part of my shower routine and it does wonders for my face. After using it, it leave my faces feeling very fresh and I experience very minimal breakouts (can't seem to avoid those time of the month breakouts!). Another great thing about this product is that a little bit goes a long way. I've been using this everyday for 3 months now (I use about a pea sized amount on my hand) and I still have about half of the bottle left.
At first the smell is a little overbearing as with most tea tree oil products, but after using it for a while you don't even notice it.
