Long movie, it wasn't great, I found it to be meh.

This was an interesting movie, and I really appreciated its differentiation from the typical hollywood films and plots. Also kudos to the costuming team, who killed the transformations of the characters through time.
I don't think this was Brad Pitt at his best though.

I found this movie disturbing and weird. It was a little creepy too. Not a great film for Brad Pit. Too hard to follow the story as he looked so creepy.

I'm sorry but I couldn't finish watching this movie, I was waaaay too confused by the storyline so I gave up.

The movie just BOMBED for me. I really like director David Fincher and Cate Blanchett a lot. This is a pretty bad Brad Pitt role that proves he can be great one moment and then horrible the next. It's a very confusing film and way too long for me to stomach. I got bored very quickly. You've been warned...

Awful. Couldn't even make it all the through. SUPER long and too boring!

My mom and I watched this the other night. It was okay... worth watching for the unique story and famous faces, but it seems like it was pretty predictable and like a lot of it had already been given away in all the media surrounding it.

That said there were some little funny bits, that gave the movie a bit more "oomph". Definitely see it, but don't expect it to be amazing.

The mister and I just watched this movie tonight, and after I had mopped the tears from my face and my husband had gotten all his obnoxious Brad Pitt comments out of the way, I had to take a moment to recommend this movie.

The storyline is unique, but there has been so much media coverage that little remained unexpected. It's simply the story of a life, and because of the simplicity of it, the characters shine all the more.

Brad Pitt is decent in this movie, but I was blown away by Cate Blanchett. I've long been a fan and every time I see a movie with her in it, I am newly surprised how convincingly she plays the part. She completely stole the show for me. I loved Tilda Swinton as well, and have loved her for a long time, but although she gets so few parts I find I enjoy her all the more for the rarity of it.

Don't watch this movie for the story per se; watch it for the amazing performances. A must-see for any fan of Cate!
