This is a great book and a great first installment to the series. I watched the movie first and then read the book and it was the wrong thing to do as I kept waiting for things to happen in the book that happend in the movie and that was not the case. But I still loved this book and it got me hooked!

This movie is aimed at a teen audience. It slightly reminded me of Twilight only it happens in the big city with lots of vampires, werewolves, and supernaturals. I watched it from start to end and it was kind of cheesy. It's based on a book series. Not a great movie even with all the CGI.
