In my eyes, Stephen King can really not do wrong with any story however, I have to say, to continue an epic journey to a series that took over 20 years to compile, and publish, the man deserves extra kudos. Serving as Dark Tower VIII, this book is actually written to fit in between Wizard and Glass (DT IV), and Wolves of the Calla (DT V), and is more of a background story on Roland Deschain. King fans everywhere will find this novel ties right in, and gives us just that little bit of extra background we were missing.
