Good natural treatment

I get acne from dietary and hormone issues, and they are difficult to manage as they'll last for days while very inflamed. I liked this gel cuz it gave a cooling sensation, it smelled pleasant, and I enjoy that it's natural. Though it was easy to use, I'm not entirely sure if it sped up the healing process for my acne as my pimples are usually really stubborn but I'd like to think it made things easier to manage and less painful.

Strong smell

I really wanted to like this product because I’m a big fan of plant-based skincare. I tried the Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Medicated Acne Gel on a few pimples, and it did help dry them out and reduce them over time. However, it took a couple of days before the acne noticeably improved.

My main issue is the smell. The tea tree oil scent is extremely strong and concentrated. I don’t have any allergies to the ingredients, but I found the fragrance overwhelming and it gave me headaches. Because of that, I couldn’t comfortably use it on my face.

While it may work for some people, I personally can’t recommend it for facial use if you’re sensitive to strong scents. Unfortunately, despite wanting to love this product, it just wasn’t the right fit for me.

Tea Tree Medicated Acne Gel

I received this free sample to try the Thursday Plantation Tea Tree Medicated Gel for Acne.

I cleansed my face as instructed and then lightly applied the gel to a few areas of concern on my face.

Since I haven't used it a few times, I cannot confirm it's effectiveness but will continue to apply it, twice a day as recommended. I liked that the product did not feel sticky or greasy.

I have previously used products with Tea Tree oil before however this is the strongest scent I've come across.

The benefits may be worth it but I don't know that everyone will be able to tolerate the strong smell.

Surprisingly small

I expected this to be bigger, but it’s quite a small tube. I think it would last a few months for moderate acne and much less if you have severe acne. Right away when you open it, you can smell a telltale Teatree oil. It leaves a cooling sensation. If your nose isn’t sensitive, you can give it a try.
