I like how easy to use these sheets are! And it's fantastic to see that Tru Earth is providing a Ocean-Wise, eco-friendly, sustainable product that is Canadian-owned. Another plus - the fact that this is hypoallergenic and doesn't upset my eczema-prone skin. Love it!

Eco friendly laundry strips

These were fun to use and innovate. Though I felt my clothes didn't smell as fresh as they could have been, they were cleaned and this was an eco-friendly, no mess alternative to other detergents.

Love the concept, not the scent

I feel like these are super practical and portable, especially for summer trips. I found this scent a bit too overpowering just sitting in my laundry room when I wash the laundry it was kind of a nicer light scent, but I would probably pick an unscented version next time. It is really easy to pick the size of load do you need.

Clean Detergent

I ’ve been using Tru Earth Laundry Strips for a few years now, and they’ve become a staple in my laundry routine — especially for washing bed sheets and towels. I love that they don’t contain any harmful chemicals, which gives me peace of mind for the things closest to my skin.

When it comes to heavily soiled clothing, I do find I need to pre-treat stains with a spray for the best results, but for regular loads, these strips work really well. The absolute best part is how compact they are! I live in a small house, and switching from bulky detergent bottles (that used to take up an entire cupboard) to a couple of slim packages tucked into a drawer has been a total game changer for space-saving.

If you're short on storage space or want a more eco-friendly laundry option, Tru Earth is definitely worth trying!

Works and is better for the environment

Thank you Butterly for sending me these laundry strips to test and review. I tried a strip in a regular load of colours, washed with cold water. I didn’t notice any residue on my clothing, and it was so easy to toss a strip in the machine. Way less mess than liquid laundry soap! This sample has 36 strips and it generally costs $19-20 for this size. I guess that’s comparable to what I’m spending with regular laundry soap. I’ll likely make the switch!
