wanted to love it, but kind of weak performance

I am an athlete and do a lot of gym laundry. I am always looking for more eco friendly, plastic free options, and was excited to try these plastic free detergent sheets (did I mention travel-friendly?) from Tru Earth USA.

They have a delighful light lilac smell fresh from the box, which reminded me of a spring breeze.

They advertise working in both cold and warm water, but unfortunately, did not seem to dissolve completely in cold water.

They clean okay, but definitely cannot stand up to sweaty gym clothes, which was a disappointment.

These may work well for travel though because they are so light, and work decently on not heavily soiled clothing.

Unusual

I was really excited to try this out. After the laundry, I find that my clothes doesn't have the usual scent after laundry. There was really no scent at all. So I figure this is not for me. Because I somehow wanted to smell the fresh clean scent of clothes after a cycle.

It was ok

It is compact enough for my laundry room. It smells great. It is easy to use to be honest. However, it doesn’t get foamy, so I tend to use it alongside my regular detergent.

They’re good

I do enjoy these laundry sheets but for larger loads which is what I require, it would be nice to have bulk packs of these as I find I went through these quickly. These did not irritate my skin which I greatly appreciated

I saw multiple videos showcasing these laundry sheet detergent I have heard that it’s super good for the environment and I believe it is helping managing waste and excess plastic however I wasn’t as much as in love with the product as much as I thought I would be! Nonetheless it’s a great alternative to plastic bottle detergent

Good option

These laundry strips were good but they didn’t take off all the dirt on my floor mats. So I have to re-wash them. I know that when products are clean and vegan they doesn’t contain chemicals like others so that might be why this happened. But sadly these are not for me.

Great for keeping dyes and nasty stuff out

It’s a clean product, but with that I’m not sure if I’m SUPER over the moon with the level of clean delivered :/ I have to test again to be honest but I felt really good about the items that were only lightly soiled! I would definitely keep this in my arsenal for light loads!

Smells so good and fresh!

Sometimes it's a hit sometimes it's a miss. I find that I have to use hot water for it to completely melt, which is not ideal for electricity and heating bills.

Good for people living solo or a couple

I’ve used this product before so I’m familial with it. I love that it is everything you can Ask for in terms of its environmentally friendliness, so I’d recommend and support it for that alone as they have such a lovely mission! It’s just I find that it’s good for people living solo or as a couple but not if you have a big family with kids, you will have to use more than the required amount. Either way good concept
