This is a smaller humidifier diffuser, so best for smaller rooms (unless you have multiple) or for using close to your work station for maximum effect.

It's not totally silent, but is very, very quiet to the point where you could sleep with no issue, even if noise sensitive like me. The lights on this unit are very, very subtle and can be seen best in a darkened room at which point they gently light the stream of mist and look similar to a colored candle flame. It's a pretty cool effect and another reason I prefer this one for my bedroom, it's a light that is more for mood, than lighting up the room.

It's super easy to open (just twist) and fill, but the real selling point of this is it's wood look and unique design. It looks sort of like a super cool wood donut. I've seen a lot of big, plasticky looking humidifiers and while they definitely have their place this one is ideal for someone who wants something to fit seamlessly with decor without standing out and being an obvious gadget. It draws the eye, but because if it's beauty, rather than it's ugliness.

Goes very well with a room that has similar colored wood furniture or as an accent on a non-wood unit.
