Twilight by Stephenie Meyer Reviews
#4 in Books

Description

Isabella Swan's move to Forks, a small, perpetually rainy town in Washington, could have been the most boring move she ever made. But once she meets the mysterious and alluring Edward Cullen, Isabella's life takes a thrilling and terrifying turn. This is the the 1st book in the Twilight Saga.

LOVED THE BOOK, LOVED THE SERIES. It's like a new age Romeo and Juliet. You can't help put fall in love with the characters and go through the emotions that Bella is going through. It's very well written and I don't care if it doesn't depice Vampires of the norm. It's a great spin on a old world.

I bought all the books after watching the first movie. The movie left me wanting more, I felt like I was missing something. When I started reading the books I couldn't put them down. Every word seems to come to life like I was actually watching it and not just reading it. The characters seemed so real in my mind and everytime I put the book down it was like I had pressed pause on the movie. The storey line kept my interest till the very end. To this day I still can't find a book the sweeps me away like this one.

I began reading "Twilight" before I watched the movie, which came out in theatres. There was major hype on the book, and I wanted to read all of the books before I watched the movie. I was hooked on the book. But, I thought that out of all the books in the trilogy, this book didn't live up to the other books. I thought there was more adventure, etc in all the other books. I managed to finish this book in 2 days. It is pretty good. It is age appropriate for all audiences. It has the love factor, and many descriptions of things that happen in the story; which gives people a clear picture of what they are reading. This can be found in local bookstores, library, online.

I originally read "Twilight" when the movie came out, just to see what all the fuss was about. I was hooked from the first few chapters. Even though I'm not the age demographic they were looking for, I like a good YA novel. Though a few times I wanted to smack Bella, overall I really enjoyed the story. I didn't see it as a stalker relationship as it's a BOOK, and fiction. It was a sweet little love story that appealed to my inner 16 yr old. Supernatural stories have always held my interest as I read to escape reality. This helped me escape reality and will always be one of my favorite books.

I enjoyed these books very much, however i found that the quality of writing could have improved slightly. I enjoyed the story line but I always found myself re-reading sentences because it didn't make sense. I also would have been happier if the spelling and punctuation of the books was more professionally checked.

Loved this book! Very well written, very descriptive. The movie does not do the book justice.

I know alot of people complain that this book is a rip off of others [like Anne Rice's novels]. A person is allowed to pull an idea from another source and spin it they way they want it. And writing something that's is UTTERLY and TOTALLY original and free of other influences is impossible nowadays when everything is being spun this way and that way and remakes of old films or novels.

That being said this is a book for young adults.. also known as teenagers! But I'm an adult and I do enjoy this novel. It's a cute story that does deserve a serious read at least once. Even if you hate the film [like me].

It's a common and simple concept.. Girl moves to a new town.. Falls in love in a "gorgeous" "young man" who tries to push her away but fails and they fall in love and girl ends up in danger. Clichéd at times but it's a decent story but sometimes the characters aren't believable in things they say or their actions.

This book is worth sometime to read but if you don't want to purchase it than visit your local library and borrow it.

Loved the book. I have read the first three of the series. Unfortunately, I went to see the movie and it turned me off of the books and I haven't been able to read the fourth.

So I got the paper cover for this book and I enjoyed it very much. The writing style isn't the greatest, Stephanie Meyer didn't do that great of a job with her writing, but I really liked the story. The book is a million times better than the movie and I would recommend it to anyone who has seen the movie. Once you read this book you will want to know more and more so you will probably have to get the rest of the series but its a nice story that I'm sure most girls can relate to, I definitely know that I can.

I'll be honest, Stephanie Meyer's writing style isn't the best. A lot of the book sounds like a 14 year old gooey girl, HOWEVER, the story is great! I love the concept and I love her unique view of things she's created with the vampire world. I think the other books are better than Twilight, but I do love the story and I read all books and I'll watch all movies because I think the story is great. I do not like the writing style though. I'd still recommend it to anyone who loves forbidden love stories.
