Twilight by Stephenie Meyer Reviews
#4 in Books

Description

Isabella Swan's move to Forks, a small, perpetually rainy town in Washington, could have been the most boring move she ever made. But once she meets the mysterious and alluring Edward Cullen, Isabella's life takes a thrilling and terrifying turn. This is the the 1st book in the Twilight Saga.

I enjoyed these books very much, however i found that the quality of writing could have improved slightly. I enjoyed the story line but I always found myself re-reading sentences because it didn't make sense. I also would have been happier if the spelling and punctuation of the books was more professionally checked.

I'll be honest - when Twilight first came out, I loved it. I devoured the book in a day, and immediately pre-ordered the second one.

And then things started to go downhill. I did read the entire series, but by the time I was done the last book, I was rolling my eyes. I found the movies to be even worse. it's just too .. sparkly. And awkward. I think around the time Bella and Edward had sex is about the time I checked out.

I was hooked on this book almost immediately. I thoroughly enjoyed the plot and character development. The way Stephanie writes makes you feel you are there. While I found myself unable to put the book down, I also didn't want it to end. It's very well written and entertaining. Never a dull moment and definitely no boredom. Worth every penny to buy the hardcover. I know I will re-read the entire series again.

Loved this book! Very well written, very descriptive. The movie does not do the book justice.

I read this series after all the hype. I thought it was just geared towards tweens. After reading the first one I couldn't put the rest of them down. These are such great, easy reads. Every girl wants an "Edward" in her life. I recommend these books to everyone!

Ok so I really drug my feet when it came to reading this series I thought I wasnt my genre of books, was for a teenage audience and there was too much hype for my liking! I finally broke down and read them and I was not dissapointed I found the story line to be engaging and I just wanted more!! One by one I read the books and A year later I am reading the series over! I guess you really shouldnt judge a book by its cover!

What teen/woman in this world does not like the Twilight Saga? No one!! This book was meant for teens but it has a real appeal for older women as well. Yes, there are vampires, werewolves and many far fetched and weird things inside the novels, but that all comes together to create a wonderful story about a twisted love triangle. I definitely recommend this book for males and females alike! (p.s. read the books before the movies because the movies were horrible and can influence your imagination while reading!!)

Read back in 09 a couple times. Terrible book. Filled with horrible, unprofessional, and unrealistic writing. I could write a better book than Meyer in a month. Meyer's series (NOT saga, series) preys upon preteen and teenage girls (and occasionally guys) with a fetish for creepy 107 year old pale sparkling vampires.

IMPOSSIBLE not to fall in love with this story. Stephenie Meyer did an excelent job with all four books of the saga. This is the kind of book you just cant put away until the last page and keeps you counting the days until the next one (well, not anymore since they're all out now) and even though the saga had a great ending, you still think about how the characters are doing after you read their ending.
This book makes you wanna fall in love, live life, make changes and dream, dream, dream!
Lose yourself in this fantastic world where mythical criatures come to life and love is all that matters!
