These come in so many great flavours and they're really easy to prepare. Whenever I try to cook my own rice it just never ends well. However I don't consider it to be very fast. I feel like it's an average cook time and the minute rice would be the "fast" stuff.

This is very easy to prepare and taste very delicious. there is many flavours to choose from and they all taste great.very affordable so you can always buy more than one flavour at a time.

Uncle Ben' Fast and Fancy Rice Dishes are a staple in this house. So easy, add the rice, seasoning and some butter or margarine, cook for 10 - 15 minutes. I use the oriental rice one and just before it has finished cooking I add shrimp or scallops, frozen peas, maybe some chopped green onion and some sugarsnap or snow peas. Let it finish cooking and your whole meal is done. Good to do when you are rushed for time or don't want to cook up a heavy meal. You can experiment with some of the other flavors by adding chopped chicken or ham and any left over veggies from the night before. Definitely a staple to always have on hand.
