Van Houtte Caramel Vanilla

I tried Van Houtte Caramel Vanilla brew over ice over the weekend. My husband and I didn't like the flavor at all. It just wasn't for us. I would like to try their other flavors though.

Good for those that love strong coffee.

I honestly did not like this coffee. I found it way too strong and bitter. I had to add 4 sweeteners to take away the bitter taste. I will not be recommending this to my friends and family.

Tastes watered down and weak

Do not really like this - love the idea but with the amount of ice you need to add to make this an iced coffee it ends up tasting watered down and not pleasant.

Artificial Flavoring 👎

I was excited to review the Van Houtte Vanilla Caramel Iced Coffee for free from Butterly. I found that it was very easy to prepare, although it will take some trial and error to get the perfect cup, as you have to add milk, sugar, and ice cubes to your liking. The coffee smelled delicious while brewing, but the taste was disappointing, due to the artificial flavoring. Overall, I thought it was ok. I don't think I would buy it though.

Not our favourite

The coffee was quite bitter to be marketed as a sweet flavour (we tried vanilla caramel). Although it smelled amazing it tasted more like straight black coffee. You’d have to add quite a bit of sweetener to make this more enjoyable.

Great flavour but not compatible

I love the flavour that is packed into this Keurig pod, but I found that it is not compatible with just the hot brew Keurig machine. I found that it lost the caramel flavour in the brewing cycle and trying to cool it down over ice.
Left it in a cup in the fridge overnight and going to add ice to see if the flavour will come out more when chilled.
