I was so excited to try this moisturizer but ...

I am in love with the Vasanti exfoliating face wash. I was so thankful to have gotten it with my Premium membership and get something that I am now hooked on. I was excited to try the moisturizer too and had high hopes. The cream goes on well but you need to be fast in your application. It soaks into your skin quite fast! I really liked that feature, because it doesn't leave your skin greasy for a long time. A little dab goes a long way, so the bottle does last. The scent is ok. A little perfume-y for me but not terrible. Now to the bad things, sadly. I didn't find it held up to the good, old Canadian winter. My skin has been really dry while using it compared to my last face cream. I have also been breaking out. I have freckles and have very clear skin. (One of the perks some of us get with a face full of freckles is very rarely do we get blemishes! It may be the only perk, actually...) I have been breaking out lately. I have stopped using my Vasanti cream this week and today my face is happy once again. I don't have sensitive skin but maybe this cream isn't for me. Too bad! I will stick to my exfoliator only and maybe give the cream a try again in a little while.

This came in my CA premium box and it was a bit too light for my skin type, in particular, in the winter i need hydration and even when i added more i work up feeling a bit tight. As it's hard to tell what the canadian price is i can't tell you if it's worth the value. Better perhaps for those with slightly oily skin or who do not suffer from dehydrated skin.

I got this moisturizer in the ChickAdvisorPremium bag, along with the Vasanti BrightenUp rejuvenator ..which i love!! This cream smells amazing. It absorbs super quickly... and then i feel like i need another moisturizer, because my skin is dry and tight again within minutes. Not heavy enough for my extra dry skin

May be sufficient for younger combination or oily skin.
Still, very impressed with the accompanying BrightenUp Rejuvenator scrub.
