I received the Vichy Neovadiol Serum #gotitfree to try out and honestly didn't find anything from using this product. With it being the price and how popular Vichy, it would give me that opportunity to try it before I actually buy but don't think I will be purchasing this in the near future. Maybe it just wasn't for my skin type afterall. I appreciate having the chance to try this though.

I received this from the Chickadvisor Product Review Club. Vichy is a part of L'oreal, which is one of the biggest cometics company in Europe, and I have a lot of confidence in their product.

One of the problems with this line is that is has a strong weird smell. I also like to avoid products with alcohol. I understand that alcohol helps the ingredients penetrate better, but it can also be drying to skins. Even though I have combination skin that sometimes appear oily, my skin is actually dehydrated. Alcohol is pretty high in the ingredient list of this product.

The serum is light and absorbs very quickly, probably due to the alcohol. However, it also leaves a bit of a shimmer, which I'm not particularly fond of. It does seem to leave my skin softer and more hydrated.

Because of my personal preferences about fragrance and alcohol, I will not be repurchasing. It may work for other people.

This serum was a nice texture and smelled great. However, my sensitive skin didn't react well to this line. I had some breakouts. For someone with less sensitive skin, this would probably be a great product.

This serum is light and silky not sticky. I do feel it has made an improvement in my skin. It has left it softer and I swear less wrinkles. It's very expensive for my budget but would love to continue use.

I received this item as part of Chick Advisor's Product Review Club. The serum has a runny texture but goes on very smoothly. The one thing I didn't like about this product was that it had a slight sparkle finish - I think it was to add to the "glow" effect but I would have liked it more without the added shimmer. The scent was decent - a bit overpowering but not over the top.

I really wanted to love this product. This serum was definitely not for me. It sat on my face, my skin did not absorb it all. My skin is combination and the product does specify all skin types especially for sensitive skin. I used this product for a week but with the same results. It sat on my skin, I waited a 1/2 half hour before adding the day cream on top. Every day I had to eventually wipe my skin clean. Having not tried a Vichy product before I don't know if it was the wrong formulation or just the wrong brand for me. #gotitfree

Not a lot is required and it is very smooth; however, the scent is very strong and I'm not sure if that caused a slight rash. I would prefer unscented.

I tried this serum and within 2 hours I had to was my face. I found it to be very greasy and felt like my face couldn't breath. Sorry this product wasn't for me

Light and easy to apply doesn t add to the weight of the product on your skin. Mild scent. Hope it helps. No obvious visible difference after a week, but the quest continues.
