Even though I am not in menopause yet, I am in my mid-late 40's. My skin is still combo/oily but it's very dehydrated, reactive and prone to breakouts. I also have hyperpigmentation/melasma, and crows feet. But, what bothers me the most is the slackening of my skin as I've aged. My skin is not as taught and losing it's elasticity, and I find this the most aging on me. That's why I selected the Neovadiol line as it is specified for loss of density and sagginess.

I used Vichy's whole Neovadiol line. Including the Compensating Complex Day Cream, Serum, and night cream.

This product states that it's for very dry, dry, normal, oily, combination, and sensitive skin. And, that it's for loss of skin density, and sagginess.

This serum felt beautiful on the skin and absorbed nicely. I like to apply to damp skin for better absorption. It was very hydrating and I could feel that there were actives in the products as I had slight tingling to my skin. The serum has a slight fragrance, nothing overpowering and layers well with the day and night creams.

I found the serum very gentle and I did not experience any irritation or breakouts.

I have been using the whole Neovadiol line religiously for 3 weeks now. I did not notice any immediate effects with these products. I did notice that my skin was hydrated and happy! But, it wasn't until I had been using the products for 2 weeks that I touched my skin and it felt much denser to the touch. I was in shock and couldn't stop touching my skin. Today, I looked at my crows feet and found that they have drastically lessened too, I guess the thickening and plumping of the skin has filled them in. My skin appears much younger and plumper!

I feel like I can't put a price on results like these!. I'm continuing to see results and I'm excited to see how much better my skin will get over time. It sure beats surgery!!

The Vichy Neovadiol Copensating Complex Serum did work well,but I do have one concern. I found that this product had quite a scent when you are an individual that is very sensitive to scents. Initialy the redness in my face tended to get worse,but as my skin got use to the product I found that it almost took my redness away and appeared to smooth out my skin. I think that it is a very good serum to use before the Vichy day or night cream.

This serum is absolutely amazing!!!! I love the texture and the way I'm noticing my skin is starting to look more refreshed and less dry and dehydrated. I'm impressed. As a bonus it smells fabulous!

I used this product in the morning and at night. It did go on easy but did not see any results from using this product. I used this with the day and evening cream. The texture of the serum was good and did absorb into my skin but you would not know that I was using a product as there were no results at all.

Serums seem to always make me feel like I am not really putting anything on my face. BUT I was surprised by this testing of Vichy Neovadiol! One pump is all I needed and it went the distance. I LOVED how it felt. I was at first concerned about price of this whole product line but you know, the products will last about 3 months it is WORTH IT! Every single penny!

You can't argue the fact that my skin looks amazing for 47! Also, I went into menopause in my 30's (medically induced) so finding stuff has been challenging that doesn't give you those weird white pimples. I HAVE NONE after 30 days! :)

This serum regenerated my skin and gave it a new luster . This serum has given me a healthy complexion and healthier skin . I recommend it to all . Chick Advisor thank you for allowing me to know this product.

When they this product is designed for mature skin they are correct. It made my skin feel youthful again without feeling slimy! The smell is so nice also. Will become a permanent fixture in my daily routine!

Vichy Neovadiol Compensating Complex Serum is great. Love the smell. It is a light texture and you don't need much. My skin gets better everyday using this product.

I received this from the Chickadvisor Product Review Club. Vichy is a part of L'oreal, which is one of the biggest cometics company in Europe, and I have a lot of confidence in their product.

One of the problems with this line is that is has a strong weird smell. I also like to avoid products with alcohol. I understand that alcohol helps the ingredients penetrate better, but it can also be drying to skins. Even though I have combination skin that sometimes appear oily, my skin is actually dehydrated. Alcohol is pretty high in the ingredient list of this product.

The serum is light and absorbs very quickly, probably due to the alcohol. However, it also leaves a bit of a shimmer, which I'm not particularly fond of. It does seem to leave my skin softer and more hydrated.

Because of my personal preferences about fragrance and alcohol, I will not be repurchasing. It may work for other people.

Really thick serum. The first time I used it I used too much, It took a while to absorb. The next time I used a very small amount and it was great. It has a very nice fragrance and feels very soft on the skin. I really thought this was an excellent product.
