Excellent Delivery Service

I received a $25 dollar voucher from #chickadvisor to use towards $100 dollars of grocery delivery service by #VoilabySobeys.

During COVID it’s been difficult for my parents to get grocery’s so I decided to order for them and have them delivered. I went online on a Tuesday and created my account. There was quite a large selection of delivery dates and times available. Delivery times were within a one hour window, I picked the day and delivery time and proceeded to select the groceries. I requested a Sunday afternoon delivery and was able to change my order up until 7:30pm on the Saturday before which was great and offered flexibility in case there was a change in mind. The items were listed to the invoice and remained the same price even if the item price changed by the delivery date. I was not charged until the actual delivery was made. On Sunday one hour before the scheduled delivery time I received a call from the Voila delivery individual who advised they would be arriving at the delivery time. He inquired if I wanted the groceries dropped of the lobby or the door. I advised it was for my parents and he was happy to deliver to my parents front door and only requested they be home to open the front door for contactless delivery. When he arrived he knocked and my parents opened the door and stepped back and he proceeded to place the groceries inside the front door. He explained the the bags marked with a green stripe were for the fridge/freezer. He was very pleasant and friendly and thanked us for using this new service. His name was Barry and I can’t say enough positive words of his excellent service. At $7.99 delivery fee it was worth the price and I can not wait to use this service for myself and continue to order for my parents. My only feedback is that not all vegetable items and fruits were available but I think it’s because the service is still new and will only improve over time!

Excellent Service! Pricey Delivery!

I was offered a discount on my purchase for my honest review from the ChickAdvisor Product Club. I was impressed with the product selection online and the sales. I have been trying to move my grocery shopping online, so I don't have to go out as much during the week. It's very easy to shop online for the products that you're looking for, you can search using the search bar, or browse the product categories looking for it.

The only thing that I had any problems with was the cost of delivery, at $7.99. This was after I had put $100 of items into my cart for purchase. You're able to select a delivery window, and about 10 minutes before the delivery person gets there, he will give you a call to know he's going to show up, so that you're ready.

The delivery person that delivered my groceries was very polite and helpful. The delivery was also contactless and the delivery person was wearing all necessary PPE.

The items that I ordered were very fresh (cheese and bread) and had long expiry dates on them for the dairy items. I will def use this service again, even with the expensive delivery!

Incredible First Experience

I normally prefer to shop in person vs. online and/or grocery delivery as I am really picky about selecting my produce and the added anxiety of potentially having someone else who don't have the same standards picking it for me. I am a normal shopper of Sobeys and get all my groceries there on a regular basis as they have hands down the best quality produce out of all other grocers. Hence, when I received an offer from Chickadvisor on their new Voila grocery delivery service, I decided to try it out, hoping that the same high standards would apply in this new service.

Not only did Voila meet my expectations, the extra level of service blew me away. The online shopping experience was incredibly simple and user friendly. I especially liked how it would tell you before checking out whether an item was out of stock, as I do not like substitutes and only like to get what I choose. The whole shopping online experience was very inviting and another added perk is that Farm Boy products are also included in the catalogue! Double plus :)

In selecting a delivery window, I selected between 12-1pm and the driver gave me a call at 11:50am on the day of delivery letting me know he was closeby and the delivery was made at 11:58am, two minutes early but otherwise, impeccable timing.

All my groceries were well packed and cold products stayed within the safe and right temperature zone. The best part was the driver and associate who made the delivery. He was courteous and incredibly polite, I wish I could have caught his name as he made the whole experience that much more pleasant.

All in all, I really enjoyed Voila and will definitely order again. Understanding that the service is still new, I hope that as it gets more mature, they can add more selection to their warehouse stock, that is my only suggestion!

Voilà by Sobeys surely impressed. I received the items cold which is a great indication that the keep the products well right up until they are delivered. Very impressive! I got a phone call when they were on their way and another once everything was left on the porch. The 1 hour windows are an excellent way of knowing exactly when your groceries will arrive. I made a mistake ordering bananas because the other service I use has me enter them individually. I didn't notice the mistake and ended up with 8 bunches of bananas. So just double check numbers. And maybe since this service in New, I did not get a window of choice right away but this is something I am sure will be ironed out since everything else went exceptionally well! Will be using this service again!

This is my first Grocery Shopping from @voilabysobeys ! This shopping was done as a part of collaboration for review purpose and I must say I am very lucky to get this opportunity just before the weekend ! I received all my items on Friday and I ordered all that I wanted to have during the weekend and Of course the rest of the week !

Now let’s talk about my experience!
First of all I ordered on Thursday & everything arrived at my door the next afternoon ! I had the opportunity to choose the time slot for delivery which is so convenient and they arrived exactly at the given time ! I loved that the delivery man called me 20 min before his arrival to make sure if I was available at home. The delivery person was very friendly and handed me everything at my door with care which was cool.

In the website I found some unique items and all the products arrived carefully packed! They have indicator in the bags for those items that I need to refrigerate immediately which made my grocery organization so much easier !

If you are not much worried about budget friendly shopping but looking for fresh , nicely packed unique items you definitely need to check this store !

Great Experience

I really enjoyed the ease of shopping on the Voila website. Finding items I was looking for was simple. I also appreciated the sale section to find flyer items.
There were many delivery time slots and I was able to get my grocery the very next day.
I thing that would make it awesome would be if I could have collected air miles on my purchase. I think that is one thing that would elevate this shopping experience.
The delivery driver was super nice. He called me 20 mins before my delivery to let me know his ETA. When he arrived he wore a mask and kept his distance. He explained that all the grocery is picked from the warehouse and by robots to limit human contact which I think is awesome!
Overall a great experience and I would use this service again.

Easy peasy!

Signing up on the Sobeys website was easy, and finding everything on the site was simple. I loved how many time slots were available, I was able to get my delivery next day!
I loved ordering from Sobeys & farm boy, just nice to have options. The delivery man was extremely polite and it couldn’t have gone better. Everything I received was perfect temperature and the produce was great.
I would order again if I couldn’t leave the house, but I wouldn’t use the service regularly since I cannot price match, use coupons and delivery is 7.99. Thanks for the discount code!

Just tried this new Grocery delivery service Voila by Sobeys. The service was quite good for a start-up. It still requires a lot of work to reach the calibre of the other existing delivery services. As a positive the quality of fresh produce is very good. Unfortunately, the selection is not very good. Fruit as common as cherries are not available. Fresh bakery items leave a lot to be desired.
The order process is excellent and quick until you decide to update the order with deletions or additions. I placed my order with ease. But when I updated my order by adding and deleting items, the changes were not saved and the order was delivered as it was before changes. One positive was that Customer Service was excellent. I was credited for all deletions and the additions were sent the next day. Customer Service provided me with a voucher to cover the shipping. I was also told that I could keep the deleted items but would be reimbursed. Which brings me to another positive, the shipping charge is the lowest of all the delivery services @ $7.99 with a $50 min. As well, the speed of the delivery was excellent. You could even receive an order the same day or at least next day.
On the positive side, the order was received with absolutely no errors, which is a real plus since I experienced many errors with the other services.
Overall,
I would definitely recommend this Grocery Delivery service. Eventually, I believe with experience and time they will increase the Fresh produce section and Baked Goods and offer a better selection.

Great Delivery Service but a bit on the Pricey Side

I haven't been grocery shopping in the stores since March so when I heard that they choose me to try out this service with a $25 coupon code I was ecstatic. I love trying new delivery services, especially recently because of Covid-19. Sobeys delivery service called Voila was a great experience for me. The quality of the products they sent were great and we were able to add items from both Farm Boy and Well.ca to our order. This made it even more convenient since we could purchase our groceries along with specialty items and healthcare items. I did find the prices were a bit pricey on the website. I tried to stay with items that were on sale but had to scale away from this a bit because we did need some items. One of the items I did find was overpriced was onions for $3. Other things, like sour cream for $2 for two was a bit better but again on sale for the week. There were many options for delivery dates and times which was great. The delivery arrived on time and the person that dropped off my order was super friendly and asked if I had any questions. They were also wearing a mask and gloves which made me a bit happier to see how careful they were being with my groceries. I do have to say that an $8 delivery charge is a bit high. If you’re interested in purchasing your groceries using Voila, I do recommend you wait until a week when most of the items you need are on sale, this offsets the delivery charge. I also recommend this service if the delivery charge and paying a bit more for groceries in order to have convenience is something you’re ok with.

This service was made for me

First of all I’d like to mention I received a discount for trying this service, but I am already placing another order because I loved it! The fact that the groceries come from the warehouse instead of the store is a huge selling point, all of the items I selected were available (no substitutes!!). There are some specialty plant based products I’ve been trying to get from other services for months now (haven’t been in a store due to having an infant), and they never have the product I need. Voila had everything, including the argan oil shampoo/conditioner I buy! The food was fresh and packed well and the driver explained the precautions they take. He also called me letting me know he was ten minutes out, which allowed me to put my baby down for her nap before he got there. All in all I was impressed.
