    They don't have a lot of items

    A lot of the things I put in the cart ended up being unavailable. This made it unworth it for me since I have a large family so I didn't end up submitting the order

    Availability and price scared me away!

    Prices have been increased and the availability of products is limited. You also don’t get flyer deals. I didn’t end up nothing to order because of this. I will stick with my click and collect from a competitor, I get flyer deals/prices aren’t hiked/all items are available/better times.

    Terrible experience attempting to order

    I won't be posting this review on social media as I don't believe in bashing a company onine so am only filling out here. Plus we never did get our groceries in the end.H
    We are very unlikely to try using Voila delivery again. From attempts to order items that were on sale (we tried multiple times the last couple of weeks) that wouldn't be in stock, to having to pay delivery even though the butterly said it wouldn't cost, to our order being suddenly cancelled on us due to a "payment error" (??) the night before getting it (of course the night of the deadline, that's partially my fault, but that's also after other frustrated attempts to order earlier), to attempting to re-choose a new time to have delivery and the realizing we'd have to pick our entire grocery cart again. Overall if was a terrible experience and frustrating one. We ended up saying forget it and now my husband is driving to the competitor to get our groceries at 9:30 at night on the eve of Easter. We are very disappointed in the overall experience.

    No Delivery in my area

    It was my first time to order grocery online. I was excited to try Voila because I thought it will be hassle free for me but they do not have delivery in my area which frustrates me, I even tried it the other day but still nothing. I also thought that all sobeys have Voila since we have sobeys nearby. I still travelled far to get my ordered. I do not have a car yet so I was expecting the delivery services. hopefully they will have services in my area.

    what I only like is that it saved me time to go to each aisle of the grocery store.

    Slow delivery

    I was actually very disappointed in this service.
    I found the food selection to be very limited and the delivery availability was 2-3 days away and not same day delivery! If I am ordering groceries to be delivered it is out of convenience and necessity and this was just not it.
    I also did not like the layout for the website and it took forever to browse to make an order, this was just not for me unfortunately as I have used other delivery services that were same day and were much easier to navigate.

    Never again completely useless waste of time don’t

    Use a Save on Foods delivery app if you want anything delivered, Viola was a nuisance. Really you’re gonna tell me you’re out of milk milk like all milk yeah that’s ridiculous but apparently they’re out of milk. Well, the store wasn’t but this fuel that was and then there was no reason given to me is canceled, but it was cancelled and then I replaced it. It was cancelled again found out after a payment error but there’s no email to tell me anything. What was going on? It is my order just got cancelled so then I’m sitting around. Thinking groceries are coming. It was just very ineffective. Just use it Frustrating waste of time go ahead or highly recommend it for that note I was selected by Vola and given a discount In exchange, I was to provide a review of their service

    Taking Advantage Parasites

    I went onto our local Safeway website and looked up prices of items, particularly those on sale. I then went onto the Voila site (whom I think is also owned by Sobeys) and the price differences were astounding. Purex, as an example, was $6.44 on Safeway and Voila was $11.99! This is absolutely disgusting. Don't support them. Don't let them get away with ripping us all off. It's their own company and they use it to parasitically feed off of us.

    does not worth it

    Customer service takes 3-4 days to reply, while most other companies respond in a few hours. I'm still waiting for a response to a simple question. Also, it seems products labeled as cheap or on sale are often out of stock after I order them, leading to refunds.

    Your groceries delivered. Just like that.

    Be aware that Voila grocery delivery is a complete scam. They deliver not fresh products and deceive. Today I received my first small ($75) delivery order from Voila. Please look at the picture. In a bag of oranges, 2 oranges were rotten and 1 orange was completely smashed. Look at these two hard, green and bruised pears. I received these in my order instead of the 2 boxes of organic pears I paid $20.58 for. According to Voila support, I believe I will receive the missing crates of pears within 1 hour. Did not happen. Be carefull.

    NOPE!

    Lengthy review but… OOF…

    My grocery store stopped doing in-house delivery and partnered with Voila for deliveries, so I regrettably placed my first order with Voila recently and the experience was awful. 10/10 would not use their services again.

    If you have other options other than voila, I would recommend using that other option. But if you still choose to use their services, hopefully it’s better than my experience lol.

    What Happened:

    For starters, the delivery driver couldn’t figure out where I lived and couldn’t understand my explanation of being a big APARTMENT building at the very corner of the street and was hard to miss. They kept requesting to turn the light on outside of my “house” it ended up taking them 20 minutes to figure it out…

    Then they didn’t want to actually deliver to my door and was shouting in the hallways late at night.

    Then I had a big chunk of my order missing & ended up with a few items that belonged to someone else…

    After speaking to customer service they said the items are scanned before delivery and as long as the items I purchased weren’t scanned then I could get a refund for those items. Which if they go by that logic, then the person that ordered their items that I received instead would still be charged for the items they never even received and vice versa… They ended up agreeing to refund me for my missing items and offered to give me a code to use for my next order with them. (Yeah right lol) I went ahead and asked what the refund would be (as I like to make sure we’re on the same page) and was told they didn’t know since they had to manually do it.

    But to top it all off… They sent me an invoice of my post delivery then another email with the refund details and I noticed refund email to be off, so I went ahead and compared and EVERY item I was refunded, they refunded less than what I actually paid per item… E.g. chicken breast $13.00 refunded $10.00 lol.

    I emailed customer service with screenshots of both emails explaining if I paid $X.XX for an item that I never received then I should get the exact same amount I paid for back… They apologized and refunded me the difference.

    Overall:

    Customer service representatives were nice.

    If the drivers don’t know where they’re going, might be best to use a GPS for some guidance.

    The shouting in my building late at night was very unprofessional. They had my number, they should have at least called me.

    I shouldn’t have to email customer support explaining the refund amount issue. Though I feel like this was intentional.. Makes me wonder if they do this often in hopes of not getting caught and making a profit. If it was one item, okay sure. Mistakes happen. But not with every single item?
