Convenient delivery

I received a $25 off voucher from Chickadvisor to try this service. This was a convenient service to buy groceries and household items - I mainly got packaged and frozen foods. There was a good variety of products including some vegan items. The only minor issue I had was in terms of produce, you can't buy, for example, a single onion or two apples, it's all pre packaged quantities, which makes sense for a delivery service but is not ideal for a small household such as mine. I did get a couple of produce items and they were fresh. In future I would probably order again especially if there were a promotion, or if I were having a party or something (I don't drive so large grocery purchases are a little inconvenient). But due to the delivery fee (7.99) I probably won't order regularly. The driver seemed friendly and called in advance to make sure we were home before delivering (I wasn't home but my boyfriend was, so I didn't get to meet the driver). My boyfriend put away all the groceries before I got home so I was unable to take a picture of my order and forgot to ask him to take one.

Voila - Sobeys convenient delivery

I received a coupon for $25 off $100 to test the Voila grocery delivery program through the Product Review Club. I downloaded the app and it made it so easy to pick and choose my groceries and add to my basket.
With two small kids at home and VERY pregnant this was super convenient and made it so much simpler for me to not have to load them in the car and take them with me (especially during these times with face masks and making sure they don’t touch anything).
The groceries had good expiry dates and the produce was fresh. I’ve had this problem with other grocery services before where the items were expired or almost expired.
I will definitely be trying again in future! Highly recommend giving it a try!

Fantastic Service, Fair delivery price!

I was very impressed with the Voila service. I tried this service using a complimentary voucher I received for testing purposes. The driver communicated very well with me prior to and when delivering. The site was very easy to navigate, and I loved that they had products from both Well and FarmBoy in addition to Sobeys. The delivery fee is only $8 and I found that the sale prices were comparable to in store. My only minor complaint was that even though local peaches are in season, I received imported produce, and the produce is slightly more expensive than in store. Everything was fresh though and as described. I would certainly use this service again.

Pleasantly surprised

I was pleasantly surprised that I had a great experience with #voilabysobeys. The delivery fee is very reasonable, for one. All my items came as I expected. The items I purchased are all reasonably priced as well. The website can be easily navigated with different categories. I like the FLASH SALE Section as well. Lots of items go on sale, although it depends on the stock, I still liked the option. I mainly looked at items on sale and found a lot of them are items I purchase regularly. There are lots of time slots for delivery and mine came on time with a delivery member who was very nice. I want to disclose that I received a discount to use with #voilabysobeys as part of a Product Review Club offer.

Awesome way to order all your groceries right from home!

I have been trying all sorts of ways to try and have my groceries delivered to my home during these COVID times and reduce my frequency and exposure to public shopping.
I was given the opportunity as part of the Product Review Club and offered a grocery discount in exchange for a review. I am so glad I did as the ease of use, product selection, prices (not comparing to discount grocery stores No Frills, Food basics, etc.), and descriptions were much better than the other delivery services I have tried.
I did not have to wait a week or more for my delivery as there were lots of delivery dates and times to choose from and unlike other grocery delivery services, there are no additional fees besides the $7.99 delivery fee.
Voila had a lot of sale items in each grocery category which of course I took full advantage of.
Most of the typical items you find in a Sobeys store are available under the Voila service.
The website is very easy to use and also offers suggestions based on your searches and items added to the cart.
I was very impressed at how frozen my frozen items were still when they were delivered just as if I opened the freezer at the store to add to my cart myself.
I tried multiple different types of produce to see the quality and was amazed as they were all top shelf such as lettuce, apples (not all bruised) bananas. The fresh meats and cheeses as well also had a long expiry date so I didn't have to rush and eat it all before expiring.
Delivery was a breeze the driver came within my 1-hour delivery window, rang the doorbell, backed off, waited for me to answer then told me he was going to bring the groceries and put them on the porch and then he rang the doorbell again to let me know to come and grab them.

Normal item prices and quality were on par to the same level of grocery store, Metro, Sobeys, etc.

I am definitely recommending this service to all of my family and friends as it is very easy and competitively priced and you don't have to even leave your house :)

Great delivery service!

I am no stranger to grocery delivery services, I have been using a variety since COVID happened. One positive I noticed with this delivery service compared to others in the area was the product I received was not the products that were expiring the soonest. The fruit and veggies I received were also in great shape and what I would pick myself in store. Only negative was my delivery was late outside the window I chose. But the courier was very apologetic and polite.

Voila by Sobey's is highly recommended!

I tried Voila by Sobey's because of a Product Review Club discount offer in exchange for an honest review. I'm really glad that I gave this online grocery service a try. I have tried 2 others prior to this, and Voila is by far the best one for ease of use, punctual delivery, and efficient packing: room temperature groceries, nonperishables, cold and frozen items were all packed and labelled separately. If Voila had to leave groceries at someone's door, it would be easy for that person to know which items to put away in what order. The delivery person was excellent in explaining the logic by which my groceries were packed, which I appreciated. That said, I was puzzled that a couple of common items, like 2% milk and limes, would be out of stock. Overall, I found regular priced items to be expensive compared to other stores. However, if you can shop sale prices, Voila is by far the best online grocery delivery service, and one that I recommend. Delivery costs $7.99, and Voila offers lots of delivery times to suit most work schedules, including early morning. The range of delivery times could be especially beneficial to elderly retirees who can order and receive quality groceries without having to leave home.

Very good experience

I received a discount to try out this service but I had to spend at least $100 to receive it. I had planned to spend just the minimum required however I ended up spending more because I was able to pick so many items on their "flash sale." I was worried that these would be expiring soon but they are at least a week out and many are much longer - works for me as I bought them for a cottage trip in a few days. Ordering was easy and great items kept popping up on the flash sale section. My delivery driver called about 5 min into my delivery window and pulled up a few minutes later. It took him some time to get the items and he later explained the whole process and that he was confirming that fragile items weren't broken and that refrigerated items stayed cold - the ice cream sandwiches I ordered were in perfect condition. I loved that I was also able to try items from FarmBoy since there isn't once nearby. My only complaint is that they don't give you AirMiles.

Voila doesn't disappoint

I've used Voila several times now, and have yet to be disappointed with the service or quality of products. The delivery is always on time, and the driver always phones in advance. The driver has always been friendly and helpful, and the groceries have always arrived in excellent condition. They are fresh and packed smartly. My only wish was that the selection of produce and fresh food was greater. Prices are higher, but there are deals to be had and the delivery fee is very reasonable. Will definitely continue to use!
