Best Waterproof Mascara

This mascara is everything!!! It is gives my natural lashes lots of volume and length which is something that I love. And not to mention it is waterproof which makes me so happy because I don’t ever have to worry about my mascara running after applying two or more coats to my lashes and it also doesn’t clump up like other mascaras after adding a second coat.

Stubborn + straight forward lashes approved!

I have Filipino straight forward and stubborn eyelashes. I usually gravitate towards the waterproof formula because it keeps my lashes lifted. This didn’t disappoint! Its so easy to use and it’s not clumpy at all!

Absolutely incredible product

Highly highly highly recommend this product - as a new mom who lives a very busy lifestyle, I could not recommend a mascara more. You can see in the attached picture, I had spent the evening laughing so hard I was crying, and my lashes never stopped looking perfect.

It’s lasted so long. I love it

I was actually surprised how long this lasted. I had to wash my face twice just to get it off. I tested it and it is waterproof. It works amazing. I highly recommend this mascara.

Waterproof volume

This mascara does exactly what it claims to do. It’s a very deep black, that provides lots of volume to my lashes. It doesn’t flake, or smudge and is definitely waterproof. The applicator makes it very easy to apply the mascara to all my lashes. It dries down quickly after applying it and it feel flexible on my lashes, which makes it very comfortable to wear.

Long lasting mascara

I love this mascara. It is long-lasting and elongates my natural lashes to mimic falsies. I love the all-black look with the royal blue YSL logo that surrounds the design of the product.

A Summer must have!

My eye lashes don't grow straight, so they ALWAYS clump up when I apply mascara. However with the YSL one, there was minimal clumping. Also, it coats the lashes really thin and close, making them look natural.

These are truly waterproof; no amount of water or light cleanser will remove it. I found only cleansing balms can remove this mascara, so it's great to wear during a hike or to swim.

Overall, I love the length and volume it gives my lashes. This won't be my everyday mascara just because it's hard to take off. However, this will be the mascara I wear during the weekends and on vacation; to parties, beaches, hikes, and all such.

This volumizing mascara has a waterproof, heat-proof, humidity-proof, and smudgeproof formula. Can’t wait to use it in the summer to see how good it is on hot and humid days!

I received this YSL Lashclash Mascara to try from @thisisbutterly and @yslbeauty.


This mascara absolutely blew me away. I wore it to my friend's wedding and all of the events leading up to it. The events were back to back do I had the mascara on for more than 12 hours, and it lasts through all of the dancing and partying. This mascara also stayed put through all of the snow and rain (Canadian weather 🙄).

It's easy to apply, and the applicator coats all of the eyelashes. The mascara isn't clumpy and gives the lashes a long, feathery look. You do not need to apply many coats. For my lashes, one coat was enough. Make sure to use a good cleansing balm or oil to take this mascara off. Otherwise, it won't budge!
