Amazing Mascara!

This was my first time using this mascara. I was impressed with the packaging. It feels sturdy and made of high quality. I did find upon opening it, there was a strong smell. After using it the smell went away. It glides in smoothly, effortlessly, separates the lashes so no clumping! Definitely water proof and sweat proof! Doesn't crumble off while wearing all day long. I love that it separated the lashes so well, but also gave a look of a classic lash extensions.

Right off the bat: It’s literally designer mascara, and I didn’t expect anything less than what I got 😎💖 From the luxurious packaging to the amazing formulation, this mascara is a total hit! 💙💙💙

I really like the tapered shape of the brush, it’s long and slightly thinner than a regular mascara brush, which I noticed helped cover the whole eyelash area even though it’s not a curve shape.

I received the waterproof version of it (I don’t know if other candidates got the regular one, or if it was the same product for everyone.
It sure IS waterproof, I put it to the test in a bad way though lol: I got something in my eye and during the process of getting it out, my eyes watered, a lot, but the mascara stayed untouched, except for a couple of tiny crumbs that fell off; but it didn’t get smudged or messed up, which I find amazing lol 💙💙💙

I also LOVED the color, it’s the purest black!! 🖤🖤🖤
One coat did a good job, but two made me go WOW 🤩🤩🤩 It almost looked like I was wearing false eyelashes, in a good way!!

The packaging is your classic, simple, yet elegant YSL look: black box with gold writing; the tube is a matte black shade with the YSL logo raised on the side on a gorgeous metallic matte royal blue.

This is one of those products that I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND with no second thoughts, based on its high quality and performance 💙💙💙

100% waterproof

This mascara does not smear or rub at all, even with tears, showers, and swimming. When exposed to water it becomes less bold and the lengthening and volumizing effect is minimized. This is definitely my favourite waterproof mascara I’ve ever tried! I can see myself wearing this anytime water or tears may be involved. Otherwise, I’m not sure I’d use it everyday as it is somewhat difficult to remove!

Great mascara but could be a little better

The YSL mascara is an amazing mascara, but I’ve got long eyelashes that are very heavy so for me I need a mascara that’s gonna hold up these lashes all day and make them longer at least a pure longer or at least fuller than what they are and this mascara, even though it did make them look a little fuller I found the formula was just a little Too heavy if it was just a bit lighter weight I think this mascara has amazing potential. It’s got the it’s got the lift, but it lifts, but it takes a lift away after a bit because of the heaviness of the mascara because it is a fuller formula more consistency , the word that I’m thinking of but I just it’s great mascara I do like it, but I think it’s got better potential

Worked on my short, straight lashes

I was very pleasantly surprised by how well this mascara worked on my short, straight lashes! I will definitely keep using this and they only thing I wish could be improved is how thick the brush is. I prefer my mascara brush to be thinner as it makes it easier to apply mascara at the corner of my eyes.

Not a bad waterproof mascara

I received this @yslbeauty Lashclash Mascara from @thisisbutterly in exchange for my honest review.

It's not easy to find a waterproof mascara that actually does not smudge or create raccoon eyes. So I was really excited to try this out.

This mascara comes in a black tube that has a nice metallic blue YSL logo on it. The brush itself is pretty big, so I have to be extra careful when applying it.

In addition, it is supposed to be volumizing (400% volume boost), heat proof, humidity proof and smudge proof. Well, it does give my lashes some volume, but only after I applied at least 2 layers. It does not flake, but it does smudge under my eyes after a few hours. I am not sure if it's because I have oily eyelids or it just does not work like it's advertised.

It is however waterproof, so I definitely need to use eye makeup remover to remove it.

Incredible eyelash volume! I love it

The brush is incredible and makes your lashes look amazing! Very long lasting mascara. I would choose a non-waterproof one for every day. This brush is love from the first use!

YSL Lashclash Mascara

This mascara is an absolute game changer! The first time I tried it, I was very impressed! The packaging is luxurious feeling, much different then other mascaras. This mascara was easy to apply and stayed on all day, no smudging whatsoever. It made my lashes long and full. It is easy to remove and came off easily with my regular facial cleanser. I love how full and beautiful it made my lashes. I recommend this mascara to everyone who wants an easy way to make their lashes stand out.
