Chaise café is a recent discovery for me. Don't let the name fool you- they offer Italian-ish food not French!
Street parking is available along the main road (Provencher) or nearby side streets. Small restaurant so limited seating.

This summer (2014) they have a 50% off special on Mondays with a printed voucher from their Facebook page. I've been twice to have their 5-course Prix Fixe dinner (chef's choice but you can make requests and they give unlimited 2nds - if you can fit it in!). It is definitely a unique experience with some tasty offerings.

Between my two visits, the chef changed though the Prix Fixe menu options didn't (which is good); the chef's "interpretation" was also different. I preferred my first visit - better char on the grilled Caesar salad, properly salted alfredo and overall seasoning. However, the food is still good and at 50% it's definitely worth checking out!

The new menu looks a bit limited but the amount of food for the price is quite reasonable. A nice find in a convenient location!
