I placed an order a few times with Sears on-line ordering and they were smooth transactions. My products were delivered on time and I had my full order. Even during the busy holiday season my packages were delivered on time for Christmas as promised.
I placed an order for a Christmas gift for my daughter over the phone working off the on-line site(Dec.5). The Sear website stated that the order was available and when placing the order over the phone I was told the gift was in stock and would be shipped in 2-3 business days. I called back 1 week later to be told the item was now on back-order until sometime after Christmas. I called customer service and was told there was nothing they could do it just happens. I went back on their web site and it says the item is still available.
I googled Sears customer service reputation and it was terrible, customer satisfaction is not very important to them. I wish I had read that before counting on this order.
They will tell you anything to get you to order an item but DO NOT expect it when you want it, like Christmas!!!!
