I went to Stillwater Spa today after years of always wanting to go. Similar to other reviewers, I found the prices to be very high but it's a nice treat for a special occasion. The spa itself is very beautiful, trendy and calming. There are a lot of water features throughout that you almost forget there are no windows (and you're in a basement!). The changes rooms are nice, but a little tight on space. It's nice having the private hot tub, sauna, steam room in the change room so you're not mixed with male visitors. I had a facial and it was top notch along with the friendly service. The creams used were very high end it's probably the best facial I've had before in fact. There is a large tea room with drinks and freshly made biscotti (that was amazing!). One small drawback is they don't have a swimming pool (or I couldn't find it at least). Overall, very nice and definitely somewhere I'd recommend to my friends.

A very good friend of mine got me a gift certificate for this spa for my birthday and it was by FAR the best spa experience thus far. As MissChickie said, at first glance it may seem like it is priced outrageously but when you see the experience you get in return it is positively worth EVERY single solitary penny.

When we first arrived we changed into our robes and then sat down for tea, flavoured water and biscotti in the waiting lounge. In the dressing rooms there were also lounge chairs where you could recline and look at a flat screen of peaceful images of nature. Our massage therapists then came to get us and bring us to our respective rooms. My registered massage therapist was Roy Lim and he did a fantastic job. After the massage I met my friend back in the waiting lounge where we sat and again had tea and biscuits. Funnily enough we ran into actor Adrian Brody there as well!

Anyway, it was a GLORIOUS experience and I would highly highly recommend this spa to anyone and once I save up enough to truly pamper myself, I will return there again.

I came here with a friend for a spa day. At first I thought the prices were outrageously expensive, but when I realized what you are getting in return, it's really not unreasonable. Since we booked last minute I was only able to get a manicure. My friend had called a few hours earlier and managed to get a seaweed wrap.

What makes this spa amazing is that you can literally book the cheapest service they have and then spend hours here relaxing, drinking tea, sitting in the jacuzzi and just escape from the world for a bit. There is no time limit. My manicure was $50 and it included a hand, arm and neck massage and a paraffin treatment. For that price I got 3 hours of relaxation. First we hit up the gym in the spa, which is really small but it was nice to get a little work out in before the treatment. Then we relaxed in the tea room in our bathrobes drinking herbal tea and Illy coffee, fresh biscotti and fruit. Not once did I feel rushed even though I was only there for a manicure.

My manicure was very pleasant, though my esthetician wasn't the friendliest. She was pretty serious and militant, but I found that funny. Some woman started chatting on her cell phone and my esthetician gave her such a severe look I almost started laughing. The nail polish application wasn't the greatest. I have had better. But with the massage and the relaxation of the whole experience I felt like I got more than my money's worth. My friend said the seaweed wrap was beyond amazing.

Parking can be tricky in the area but you can get valet service for $15. It is totally worth the money... and your sanity. Next time I will make sure to book in advance and get a body treatment. I'd love to make this place a habit.

Since adding this review, I've been back for a facial and pedicure as part of their Spa Sampler menu for Beautylicious. I now love this spa more than ever. Both treatments were extremely relaxing as they both incorporate massage throughout. There are few things more soothing than a face massage!

The staff are top notch. From the check in process to the treatments, you get warm, professional service. It's my favourite spa in the city!
