UberEats is terrible, no customer service at all!
I had an issue with a large UberEats order that I placed when we had some family from out of town. I ordered from a great restaurant, a few pizza and pasta dishes and UberEats took almost one hour and half to deliver, when I live a couple blocks away. Very dissapointed with this!!!
By the time they actually delivered, the food was very cold, not just not warm, but actually cold, which was not enjoyable, especially given the money I spent. Pizza and pasta are not meant to be eaten super cold, but hot/warm as the ingredients come alive when warm. I called UberEats and they refused to acknolwedge this being an issue at all (I ordered 6 dishes, all came were very very cold), or do anything to correct the issue, and kept sending me a generic email to review them.
I paid in full on my credit card for hot/warm dishes, from a place nearby, with estimated delivery of 45 minutes. In the end, I waited double the time and my food was not in the condition it should have been. I was finally fed up with getting nowhere with UberEats and I called the restaurant to let them know the lack of customer service from UberEats, which they agreed, sometimes they get complaints about them. They apologized (even though it was not their fault) and attempted to correct the issue.
UberEats did nothing!!!!!
Lesson learned - don't bother ordering through UberEats, and eat in the restautant, it is much much better.
