CoverGirl OutLast LipStain

While I'm normally a fan of covergirl products, I found this lipstain does not live up to the name. It smells amazing, but the product barely lasts an hour, regardless of what I'm doing. I like makeup that I don't have to think about once I've put it on, and I was disappointed by this one.

This was a good idea, except they made these so disgustingly drying. I even tried putting lip blam under it then applying it, didn't make a difference. Hate.

It has good color but I feel like these are very very drying and it lasts for a couple hours. I usually put a lip balm under this. This is an okay lipstain, its not great, but its not terrible

I bought this item being super excited about lipstick (stain) that will finally last all night. I was disappointed only about a hour into the night. It wears off super fast, especially when you are eating and drinking.

The next night I went to use it and my lips were dry from living in a cold climate country and it showed all of the dry crack and skin on my lips. I had to spend ten minutes scrubbing my lips as it looked ridiculous!

I do not recommend this product unless Cover girl can improve it!

I'm torn on this item, as I love the colours and the application is so easy.I don't like how easily it wears off if you're eating or drinking, and find myself constantly re-applying.

I like that you get added colour to your lips without the goopiness of lipstick, I just feel a lip stain should have a longer wear time.

The price is very reasonable, and until I find a longer lasting stain in colours I like, this will stay in my make-up bag.

I tried this product and I really liked it. Yes it makes your lips dry, but applying the lip balm that comes with it makes my lips smooth and bright. . Make sure you apply an even thick coat of the lipstick in the morning so that the color stays consistent all day. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. Great product!

I was going to buy this product so I can try it out, but after reading the comments i'm not to sure I want to put out money for this.

I'm a bit torn on this lipstain.
At first, I loved it.
Some people mentioned that it dries out your lips, which is true. I expected it to dry out my lips, so that part didn’t faze me.
It’s definitely necessary to use a balm after a lip stain like this.
The applicator is easy to use. It’s like a marker, so you just have to colour your lips!
My problem was that over time it does wear off and when it does it’s not wearing off evenly. It leaves you with a coloured ring around the edges of your lips which looks ridiculous. It’s not easy to get off either! Besides that my only other complaint is that the product dries up quickly, even with proper care.
It’s definitely worth a try though.
I tried it because frankly I was sick of getting lipstick on my teeth.
I might buy it again, I’m not sure. But it’s definitely worth a try :)
