CoverGirl Blast Flipstick Lipcolor

the covergirl blast flipstick is the best lipcolor i could ever buy it was the best decission to get because i had pick from a walmart brand to covergirl flipstick and it was the best product i could ever buy

I tried the 'popular' color called Stunner. It is a coral orange on one side and a golden on the other. I was expecting a matte orange that I could dress up with golden if I wanted. But the orange is also glittery! It feels very dry on application. So much sparkle doesn't work in daytime at all.

I also received this flipstick lipcolor in my June Glossybox.I was not impressed with the color its called Minx and it is a deep brown color on one end the other side is a golden one.Its not fair to rate this lipcolor on color alone because if I was this would be a big fugheddaboutit!However I find the lipcolor glides on so smoothly and really keeps my lips nice and soft.I love the idea of it having two colors and I love the design.Next time I see this shopping I will pick myself up a nice pink toned one.

I got my CoverGirl Blast flipstick in my last month GlossyBox. You can buy it where ever CoverGirl products are sold for around $9.99. The Flipstick is an expertly designed blendable double ended lip stick. It has a shimmer color on one end and a cream color on the other so you can mix and match the cream and shimmer shades in just a flip of the stick and also go from day to night with just one lip stick. It’s available in thirteen shade combinations so you’re sure to find one that you love. Unfortunately Glossy keeps getting my profile wrong and sent me the Minx color for my flipstick and its really gross. It’s like a chocolate brown on one end and a chocolate copper on the other. I looked like I let a chocolate bar melt on my lips and then used that as my lip stick. Of course I never left my house while I had it on.LOL It does how ever look like it would be very nice in most of the other shades it comes in, like the whisper, or the Vixen to name a few. It felt alright on, but I can’t say how long it will last because I wasn’t walking out my door with that shade on. If I had it in a nicer color I think I would recommend it to everyone, but I’d definitely do not recommend it in the Minx color to anyone!

I'm picky with lipsticks, I've yet to meet one that I like as much as Clinique and I'm not even loyal to that brand exactly! When attending my Aqua Light blowout through Chick Advisor, the makeup artist on-hand used the flipstick on me and I very quickly fell in love with the colour #825 perky.

Unfortunately, so did a few other people because it was sold out in two different Shoppers Drug Mart locations!

No matter, I went to Wal-Mart a few days later and managed to find the colour I was looking for and have kept it with me in my purse every day since. The lighter pink is a sheer enough colour that it makes my lips stand out but isn't too sweet, and the edgy bright pink side is a great stand-alone colour I can wear to emphasize makeup or even on a nude face to draw attention to my lips.

It still stains and needs a little re-apply now and then, but it's not nearly as staining as my Rimmel. It also doesn't dry out my lips nearly as much as comparable brands at that price point. I'll definitely be buying this again.

I love it, mind you I don't use it as night and day. I use it whenever. Very pretty, recommended it to my sisters and they love it too!

This is a very cool product. Though I bought the wrong shade, I like the concept and will be trying the product in a shade more suited to my coloring. Moral to this review: great product but try the testers first!

I received my first (I'm sure there will be more!) Blastflipstick from Chickadvisor as a prize in the "yay or nay" contests. What a wonderful prize!

I was sent #815 flashy. Definitely my colour choice for starters. It goes on really smoothly and doesn't have that awful perfumey taste that some lipsticks have.

The colours blend beautifully and last for hours and hours. I ate, drank and smoked (yes, awful, I know!) with this product on and it never even faded over at least 8 hours. I usually find my lips are bare after 3 hours, even those new lipstains don't stay with me.

Loving my prize and I will be buying this for myself in other colours for sure.
