I love Kat Von D's eyeshadow palettes, they are so pigmented and are really high quality so they blend easy and stay all day
I have the Saint palette and it's my go-to eyeshadow palette with a range from pale to dark neutrals. I tend to do a neutral eye so this has everything I need. The formula goes on smooth and is well pigmented. The shadow lasts all day and I love the tin casing!
I bought the neutral palette and I absolutely love it. The colors are highly pigmented and very pretty. I would recommend this and look forward to new pallets from Kat in the future.
I bought the Beethoven palette and I really love it. I've been using it for several months now - almost daily - and the colours I use the most look barely touched. The pigment is incredibly solid, and just a little of the product goes a long way. The shadows go on smoothly and blend easily. I will definitely keep Kat Von D makeup in mind when I'm ready to make another purchase.
I recently purchased Kat Von D's True Romance Eye Shadow Palette in Metal Orchestra from Sephora. I love the blue to gray color spectrum and have found myself using at least one of the eyeshadows daily since making my purchase. The colors are just pigmented enough so that I get a nice wash without the need for a primer and a pretty dramatic color if primer is applied prior to the shadow. My only issues with the palette were that the small brushes that come included are of a terrible quality and the one cream eyeshadow that comes in the palette was of poor quality. I wasn't overly disappointed; however, since I do have my own brushes I prefer to use and hadn't used the cream shadow as the basis for making my purchase. Overall, I was very impressed with a palette that I truthfully had no prior hope for. I even really enjoy the palette's cover design and the other colors in Kat's True Romance line. I plan to purchase the remainder of them shortly and am hopeful that they will impress me as much as this one did.
I was dying to get this eyeshadow palette ever since I saw it online, I loved the colors and was desperate to get it. Even more cause I know their limited quantity so I was worried I wasn't going to get lucky. I just love everything about it, the color combination is great, I was looking to get a set with some neutral colors and I found it! I love the set of browns and the greens and well I do love wearing black too. My eyes are green so they all make my eyes stand out. They don't crease, their very pigmented and they last...& I can't leave behind the beautiful black box with the art work by Kat Von D, I love how it stands out.
I'm really impressed with this palette! First of all, Kat Von D is one fierce chick and she knows exactly what she likes. The pigment is amazing but I never expected anything less. I love the colour range and they are all colours that I would wear and that many others can wear. You can really create a variety of looks with this palette. For soft days looks, you can wet your brush in water and use the darker shades as a liner. Swipe on the lighter shadows across lid.
I love that you can create a variety of smoky eyes ranging from blacks, bronze and purples! The palette is a little pricey but you 8 shadows are included that definitely give you more bang for your buck.
I have always been a girl who buys drugstore makeup but was getting tired of the flimsy, fall off my lid by luchtime routine i was used to. This was my first good quality eyeshadow i ever bought! The price seemed a little steep but i needed a black eyeshadow that wouldn't go on so sheer it looked grey. I tested the black(which happens to be called lucifer) from the sample they had out and it came off almost creamy but it was definatley a powder. I thought ok why not lol
So because i was so used to drugstore brands and having to put so much on to ill effect, that when i tried this one out i ended up putting WAAYYY too much on! It took me a bit to figure out how much i like and the effect i want but now that i have it figured (it only took me a few applications) theres no stopping me! It goes on great blend very well and has a great base/highlighting shadow in it also( which is called tequila) It looks smooth when on and blended and i use most of the colours as an eyeliner too :) I loved this pallette so much i ordered another palette from the Kat Von D line called Ludwig and i'm anxoiusly awaiting its arrival :) !!!
