A cool treat for lips in a mouthwatering shade. Combines the coverage and finish of a lipstick with the foolproof application of a gloss. This multitalented wonder lets you customize color the way you want from bold to barely there. And there's a superrefreshing mint flavor for an instant pick-me-up

These are around some of the high end liquid lipsticks price wise, and they're not as pigmented as other brands. They are also super drying.
I purchased this to help out a friend who was just starting to sell mary kay. I usually just use lip chap. I decided to give it a go and found I actually like this product. Instead of my usual pale lips I now have color and it finishes off my look. I am glad I tried this product. It doesn't feel like thick goop on my lips
better than a lipgloss, not as heavy ad dry as a lipstick. Lasts long and is pigmented.
I tried this in the colors Cherry Coffee and Raspberry Ice. I liked both colors but ultimately I decided the Raspberry Ice was too pink for my darker skin tone. The color on their website for Raspberry Ice looks like a deep pink but it's brighter when tried on. I have the Cherry Coffee and at first I put a lot on so it was too bright for me but then I realized that you can layer it to your liking so I just put one or two light coats on and it looks more natural. The color in the tube looks rich and luscious but it's not as heavy as a lipstick and stays on better than a lipgloss. It's a neat product. I wish they had more colors to choose from though.
Holy Pigmentation!!! I too got to try these out. (Thanks Mary Kay!) At first glance, it looked kind of weird because it looked like a lipgloss, but a really tiny one! But once i tried it, I totally get why it wasn't as big. The pigmentation and color payoff of this lipgloss is beyond amazing! Like Pam said, it's like liquid lipstick. In my opinion though, it's more lush than a lipstick and more opaque. I love how i can control the look but either packing it on or just dabbing in. The color last like a regular lipstick does and doesn't dry my lips or clump up. Oh I almost forgot to mention that you get a minty and cooling feeling when you put this on... a bonus! This will probably last me a while but when I'm done, I'm looking to get my hands on more! Loves.
I tried Mary Kay Liquid Lip Color in Sherbet and I'm very impressed with its colour payoff. It's not drying and has a light minty scent. It truly is a liquid lipstick (very opaque) and great if you're going for a bold lip look. I would recommend this to anyone who likes the look of lipstick but wants the feel of a balm/lip gloss. I've never been interested in direct selling cosmetic brands but after trying this, I'm looking forward to trying other products from Mary Kay!
I received this sample for testing from Mary Kay.
I tried this product in Cherry Coffee and loved it. I'm not crazy about wearing bright red on myself so I liked this because it is a darker red (yet still pretty vibrant). Since it is liquid, it applied really smoothly and added a bit of gloss, but it wasn't sticky. It also was fairly long wearing considering I was drinking and eating with it on and I only touched up once during the night.
