If you're looking for a kid friendly tablet look no further. The Npole kids 7" tablet has 1200X800 pixels so it's easy on the eyes. We previously had a dragon touch tablet for my daughter and the resolution was horrible. This tablet is easy to set up and already comes preloaded with 60 fun games and educational apps for your child. If you don't like the apps included they are easily removed so you can make room for preferred apps which can be downloaded from the Iwawa store which has all kinds of free kid friendly educational and fun games suitable for children. There is only a total of 9Gb of RAM included but there is a 32 GB SD slot if more is needed. Since this tablet is used only by a 15 month old not much is needed.

This is a 4.4.2 kit kat android tablet so it's easy to use. The front facing camera is 0.3 MP and the rear facing camera is 2.0 MP which is of little concern to this reviewer. You have the internet browser as on any tablet but since it is under parental control there is a setting that allows you to add the sites you want your child to have access to. There is also a time set up if you want to limit your child's time spent on the tablet. There's also an MP3 player and a video player preinstalled as well and a calculator. The battery doesn't last all that long. Only 4-4 1/2 hours.

The tablet does take a while to turn on and some of the internet sites are quite slow. I have added YouTube to one of the sites so that my child can have access to all the cartoons she likes to watch on youtube such as little baby bum (which consists of nursery rhymes and kids music) and it worked at normal speed.

This tablet is sold internationally so if you go into settings you can choose from several languages including English, French, Spanish and Italian. The quad core processor ensures it's not as slow as some tablets and the screen setup is easy to navigate for a young child.

This tablet comes in a nicely sealed retail box so it would make a wonderful gift and included in the box is a protective texturized silicone case that is easy for small hands to grip. There's also a loop on the case which I might use to securely attach to my daughter's stroller when we go out. My daughter has already thrown it on the floor once so I can vouch for durability. Also included is AC/DC adaptor as well as a USB charger and a DC power charger. So at the end of the day this tablet is perfect for parents that want to expose their child to technology but wants to limit what they can do and what they have access to.
