I had first heard about Lotuswear on the Last 10 Pounds Bootcamp on the Slice channel. In most of the episodes, the participants would be working out in Lotuswear clothing. I researched the line to see where I could find it. I discovered that sadly it was only available in B.C. (at the time -- now they have a store in Calgary) -- I live in the eastern part of Canada.

On a recent trip to B.C., I made sure that I made a pit stop into Lotuswear. I was quite impressed with the array of yoga attire they carried, all very well made and stylish. I especially like their tank tops -- many of them are beautifully designed with straps that criss-cross along the back. I found that they feature a wide variety of clothes that comes in bright, yummy colours. What I especially like about the Lotuswear line is that they are environmentally concious company. Many of their clothes are made with organic or sustainable fabrics that are not harmful for the environment.

I cannot wait for this store to come to Toronto (if it ever does). But in the meantime, I will continue to shop there whenever I visit the west coast!

Lotuswear is a chain of stores that carry high end yoga wear. This is a Vancouver based company that was founded in 2004 and has sinced opened various locations in West Vancouver, Kitsilano, Richmond, Langley, Victoria, White Rock, Nanaimo, Whistler, Kelowna, Kamloops and Calgary.

Lotuswear carries yoga-inspired active and casual wear for both women and men. They are also commited products that leave a lighter footprint on our planet. They use organic cotton in their products that follow strict regulations and are certified by a third party. Suppliers also use low impact dyes that have less polluting run-off.

Their clothing is comfortable and looks great. I purchased a top from here that I love! Consider Lotuswear next time you are in the market for yoga-inspired active or casual wear. :o)
