Michaels is a heavenly place for an artist as myself. I can buy all of my art supplies and home décor in one place. However, living in rural Quebec I will probably never see this store in my town. I still have to cross the border to enjoy this type of shopping experience.
Love the going to Michaels to get my pictures framed and to buy yarn to knit
They have lots of items for you to choose from in order to make unique crafts.
Always a sale. Great items for every holiday. Lots of inspiration for diy projects. Cute, simple and trendy jewellery. Baking supplies. And so much more. There's also classes for baking and doing crafts. Kids can have a birthday party there.
I LOVE this store! They are much more than just a craft store. They also have great home decor that changes frequently with the seasons. They are a tad pricey, but they always have amazing discounts (up to 50% off regular priced items and a ton of clearance items). I love browsing and getting a ton of inspiration to do something crafty! :)
This is a favorite store for anything crafty. They always have online deals and great prices. They carry unique things that are hard to find anywhere else.
I love this place, but I'm not fully satisfied. I love that they do carry a lot of specialty jewelry making tools, and using their 50% offf coupons on those is a must. But their prices are too high, and their selection of jewelry making supplies/findings isn't the best. I've never been able to find 'bell caps' for example. And their selection of seed beads is tiny and also overpriced. But I do like their jewelry displays and specialty craft items. It's worth it to walk through once in a while just to get craft ideas (some things you can make yourself at home). I was REALLY disappointed in the quality of bulk necklace chain I purchased once. It came on a large spool and was vacuum sealed in plastic so I couldn't feel the silver chain. After opening it I found out it was the cheapest quality and lightest weight chain I've ever felt, like quarter machine Hong Kong quality. So bad I couldn't use it at all to sell necklaces and couldn't return it b/c the packaging was all ruined.
Great store for craft supplies but only if you've got a coupon!
I find their regular prices high, but I love buying things here without their weekly 40% off coupon. Very handy for parties, knitting/crocheting/crafts and even for baking! The supplies here allow you to be creative and the Wilton selection is excellent.
Customer service is minimal - best to know what you want.
I love Michael's store. I easily spent a couple of hours browsing through every isle to find some good deals. When you subscribe to Michaels email list, you will receive promotions on sales and savings up to 50%, that is when I take advantage. This store caters to everyone and has a craft table for kids too.
I could lose myself for an entire day in Michaels. I absolutely love this store!
Firstly, I agree, the prices are pretty steep, but when you subscribe to their emails, they are always sending weekly coupons for the store: some of the times there will be 50% off coupons, or 20% off sale items.
Another great thing about this store is that they have a variety of different classes including cake decorating, jewelry making, crocheting and knitting.. and so many more. I have yet to try a class, but I have heard great things about them.
This store is great for home crafts and they have so many isles that I bet everything and anything you need it will be there. I like that they offer for kids craft classes and the associates there are super nice. The check out process wasn't too long and they often times give out offers.
