Patisserie Saint Honore - Toronto

My husband and I love bakeries - especially french bakeries! We had been meaning to try Patisserie Saint Honore as soon as we moved to The Kingsway area in Etobicoke. It's a tiny little bakery and doesn't have the look or feel of a bakery in Paris, but definitely has the taste of an authentic french bakery! The bakery is known for their crispy, buttery croissants and their delectable crispy pains au chocolats. Don't be rubbed the wrong way by the owner, Jean-Jacques. He's a crazy french man who will try to up-sell you on buying more. Apparently he's always drunk which now looking back was probably the case. And it has been said to beware of anything with meat! Otherwise, he knows how to make the tastiest croissants and pain au chocolats in town!
