I had a massage today. The lady that massaged me was very good and it was one of the best massages that I have had. Although, the massage was great, the ambiance was not. The spa change room was that. The spa change room consisted of one bathroom, one shower, a sink to was your hands and on one side of the sink were 3 razors available for your use, QTips, 10 shower caps available for your use. On the other side of the sink was a container consisting of hand washing dispenser and another dispenser for body lotion. The shower had shampoo/conditioner and Shower gel. In the locker were sandals and a white robe presented nicely. The lady that came in after my 45 minute massage had two left sandals in her locker, ooops...Towards the waiting room, was a water machine for hot or cold water, slices of lemon and lime on a dish, a variety of tea, a bowl of 4 apples. A couple of chairs that you could sit in while you fill out your form. While I was in the massage room, there was no music. I understand why they may not have music due to the wide diversity of people. However, maybe nature sounds would work for everyone. After my massage there were a variety of samples on a rack (not in the change room) to try out. Now, I guess one could squeeze the mask sample on their hands, go back to the washroom and apply to the face. You were not allowed to take these samples to the change room. Not ideal, although the products I tried were great products. The price was in line with other spas and were reasonably priced at $105 for a 45 minute massage. Oh, the spa today was only offering massages as everyone else were in Calgary on course. Overall, would I recommended this spa? No.
