Subeez Cafe - Vancouver

This is a great spot. Crazy/funky interior with candles on stands caked with old wax, art everywhere you look including the bathroom, and a surprisingly delightful brunch. I imagine this place would be quite fun at night all lit up with candles.

I ordered the mushroom, goat cheese and basil eggs benny, which was very nice. I was eyeing the strawberry french toast, which I'll have to try on another visit. I love the atmosphere and how they serve espressos on a little silver tray.

There is a small patio outside, and the location is the start of Yaletown. We almost went here twice on one weekend but decided to be fair and try more places first. I will be back.

A friend introduced me to this cafe in Vancouver and I was very very impressed. Subeez Cafe offers an extensive menu which is moderately priced with a great atmosphere. There is a big patio outside but for rainy days the inside is HUGE. They have vaulted ceilings to the point where I thought it would be the appropriate venue for a nightclub! This place has very funky artwork pieces scatted throughout the restaurant/cafe which means you will always have something to look at or talk about if your present company is boring or the conversation is dwindling. This venue also has an extensive bar if you are in the mood to have a drink. The atmosphere of this place is much more like a lounge at night as opposed to a cafe except the music is a lot quieter than you would have in a lounge.
