I received these free to review from Chick Advisor. They're alright, nothing too special. I found them a little chalky and not quite decadent fudge. I found it didn't really make me feel full, I would still be hungry around mid morning with or without eating the bar. Would I buy them? probably not worth the cost to me

I received the Nutriforme Bars as a free sample from the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I was really excited to try them but was a bit let down. They were just...meh...okay I guess? The chocolate tasted a bit chalky to me. You could definitely tell that they were a diet bar. On the plus side, they do keep you full for a really long time, which is good. The texture was super dense and not overly pleasant to eat. Overall, I would not see myself buying these or recommending them. I would rather spend my calories elsewhere on something more satisfying taste-wise.

So I didn't really think the Adrien Gagnon Decadent Fudge Nutriforme Bars were anything to write home about. They were ok.

Now to give them credit, they are definitely filling. I found that I actually had trouble finishing an entire bar in one sitting. They did keep me satisfied from a hunger standpoint. I also liked the weight loss meal plan that was included in the box.

I really wasn't a huge fan of the taste, I wouldn't compare it to decadent fudge, it had more of a coffee flavouring, but off from coffee, I couldn't quite figure it out. I think the taste and texture were a part of what made it hard to finish. It was very heavy feeling, kind of thick, and had a weird texture, almost grainy (it had some crispy bits in it which were nice, it definitely wasn't these that gave the graininess, it was the chocolate itself.)

While they did keep me full they definitely don't fulfill that craving for chocolate since the taste and textures were off, because of this I probably wouldn't buy these again.

First off I was really unimpressed with the ingredients: dairy, gluten, soy, canola oil, sugar and corn syrup - really unhealthy. With the first bite the chocolate was a bit tasteless and waxy, typical of this type of bar. The soy crisps were a nice crunch and balanced out the soft nugat-like substance inside. The bar overall didn't taste unpleasant, but I wouldn't describe it as decadent fudge. Pretty typical of this type of meal replacement bar, but I noticed it had a lingering after taste which I didn't like. But I wasn't hungry for a few hours afterwards so good for an emergency, but I definitely wouldn't diet with this bar.

I received a package of Adrien Gagnon Decadent Fudge Nutriforme Bars as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. These bars are pretty dense, & I found that they made me feel full quick, but didn't maintain a satisfied feeling for very long. As a snack, I would eat 1/2 a bar if I knew that my next real meal would be in about 2 hours. The chocolate flavour had that really fake taste that some 'healthy chocolate' has, & I'm not a fan. Even though it had more nutrients than a lot of bars, I can’t see myself actually replacing meals with it because it’s not nearly satisfying enough to substitute for lunch, & it’s too sweet for breakfast. Yet I wouldn’t feel healthy or that I’m doing myself any favours eating it as a snack because it’s too much.

I received these bars as part of the Product Review club for free. I quite liked the flavour and the texture of the bars. I thought the chocolate tasted quite good and wasn't too chalky in consistency as often these type of bars are.
The reason I wouldn't recommend this bar was the amount of sugar in it.
Overall I would say it was okay but not great.

Tried these for 5 days...Always used them at breakfast because I don't have time to sit and eat...I found them a bit gritty but other then that very tasty and filling...Made it right to lunch time all 5 days...☺

Thank you ChickAdvisor for choosing me to try out the Nutriforme Decadent Fudge Meal Replacement Bars. I was expecting them to have an awful taste like any of the other's I've tried, witch isn't many simply because everyone I have tried were awful. But to my surprise these weren't near as bad. You can definably tell they are a nutrition bar and not a candy bar from the first bite because they don't have the sweetness of a candy bar. They are nice and fudgy witch was the one thing I think made me able to eat the whole bar. The chocolate is a dark chocolate that gives it a bit of a biter chocolate taste and there is some sort of a crispy thing with in it that gives it a bit of a crunch here and there, but not much. They do fill you up when you're on the go, or just don't feel like making some thing just for yourself, but the price point for them is pretty high considering you only get 5 in a box. My husband even took two in his work lunch with out telling me and he said they were just alright, they filled the hole so to say. I was surprised he even finished one never mind eating two because he has a real sweet tooth. So this isn't something I would have thought he'd even take one bit of never mind eat all of both. So they do have something good that make's you continue to eat all of them unlike those other nutrition bars that just don't taste very good to me at all. If you don't mind pay this much, I'd tell you to go out and get some for yourself, other wise I wouldn't bother buying them for myself, or my family on my own. They just didn't have enough to them to make me want to spend that much on them.

I am re-writing this review as I don't think my first one saved. I received this for free from the Chick Advisor Review Club to try out and review. I was excited to try it out, but ended up fairly disappointed. The taste is good, however it is very chocolaty and heavy, I find that I can only eat about a half of this bar at a time because of it, and that I end up hungry again before my next meal. So for me I find it to almost be more of a heavy chocolate bar than a meal replacement. I will also add that if you do eat this you will need water to wash it down, or a long time to actually eat it as I find it hard to swallow without either water or chewing it for a while. I do however feel like this bar could be effective if you can eat the whole thing at once, but for myself the half of a bar that I can eat does not do it for me especially since I typically go for about 5 or more hours between meals.

I usually do not eat bars related to weight management - but I am always interested in protein bars! The taste of this was delicious - but a tad too heavy. I could only eat half of it. It's great when I forget my lunch or am on the go.
