I thought this had a very artificial, strong, over bearing perfume smell like to it. It didn't take away any odors just added a stronger one to the room.

Not a fan

I was sent a bottle of Lemon scented VIPoo for testing purposes. I had heard about it before and thought it was a great idea! Obviously girls don't poo so I gave it to my husband to try.. :)
The directions are simple, shake the bottle and spray 3-5 times directly on the toilet water. Then you do your thing.
The lemon scent is really strong and had a really heavy chemical smell, not a nice light fresh scent I had hoped for.
In my opinion it did not hide the smell. Keeping in mind that I did not hang around in there and especially didn't hang around and check my hubby's. I didn't notice anything other than the heavy chemical smell, kinda like a lemon scented cleaner.

I have to say that this product does not do the job well, yes, indeed we smell the lemon scent but mixed with the smell of what you just did so its a no no for me. You can find better product who do the job better than this. Idea was good but it did not worked well for me.

Je n'aime pas du tout . Oui sa fonctionne mais tu dois quand même y penser à vaporiser à chaque fois avant d'aller au toilette. Et le prix est ridiculement trop haut .
Personnellement je ne recommande pas ce produit .

the spray bottle is easy to use, it leaves a scent that isn't too powerful and would be easy to take in your purse. I do think it's a bit silly to be overly concerned with this topic, but if this is an issue for you, this product is effective. I tried the lemon scent. I think the name of the product is a bit juvenile as well.

I liked this product, but I really don't have any use for it. V.I.Poo is meant to be sprayed into the toilet immediately before you use it. In other words it's a change of a habit I've had my whole life and I found more often not I forgot to spray it. I already use room fragrance so this is overkill. I liked the scent (lemon) but it was a bit too strong. Apparently the bottle is very small because the idea is that a woman would put this in her purse to use in public bathrooms. I would NEVER do that because many publicly-accessible buildings do not allow scent because some people have allergies to scent. In Ontario, no government-owned building (federal, provincial and municipal) do not allow scent. So please keep in mind other people may be allergic to this product and please keep it at home.

I am testing this product for review purposes. I love the idea of being able to be discreet in the bathroom - let's face it, nobody wants anyone to know they stink! I have tried other toilet odor reducing products, one in the form of drops and one in the form of a spray. They both performed a little better than this product. This product has a strong scent, and it didn't really eliminate the bad smell. I like that the spray bottle is small, and would fit nicely in a purse for travel. I just didn't feel like this stuff was as effective as other products already on the market.

I received this product free in the mail to test out and review, and was unable to choose which scent I received. First of all, this lemon scent is like a lemon cleaner. If you don't fancy that, or like people I know where it can cause migraines, I'd go for another scent if you can (like the lavender). Overall, I would say that this product is very average. It is a strong scent which masks MOST of the smell, but it doesn't completely get rid of it. I found that this product mixed in with the smell just like a typical aerosol spray. I would say that this product works as well as an aerosol spray, but likely better for you. I didn't have high expectations for this product, but I was hoping that it would work as advertised and better than it did. It is convenient and small enough to travel with, but I don't think its effectiveness is up to my expectations. Unlikely to purchase again.

While V.I.Poo is a more mainstream version of an already talked about product, the unfortunate truth is that it just doesn't smell as good. I'd tried the 'Rose' scent before and found it be too perfumey and fake smelling, so I was excited to try lemon, believing it would be a fresh scent that I would enjoy. Unfortunately it's barely even lemon. It's incredibly sweet and perfumed, rather than being a fresh zingy lemon like many bathroom cleaning products are.

I do have to admit though, that it's preferable to no V.I.POO and the lemon is the best scent of the three they offer.

The other annoying thing is the spray bottle, if you point it downwards in the bowl as instructed, it doesn't pump correctly. They should make it a dropper bottle instead.

I would buy it again if it was a lower price, but I prefer my current brand since it's the same price but has an actual lemony scent.
