Not what I was expecting

I’m a fan of Annies, and expected more from there Shells & White Cheddar Mac and cheese. The cheese powder did not blend in nicely and it tasted more artificial than cheesy. My kids loved the shell shapes however, and with 2g Fibre and 8gr Protein per serving, as a mom I gladly purchase it again for them to eat.

Healthier, but not tastier, Kraft alternative

My son and i shared this box of white cheddar, and we had slightly different opinions. He, who usually enjoys a white mac every now and then, thought it tasted "funny". It could be that "funny" simply means different, but I also though it was a bit bland (although certainly not offensive). I like that the company brings a quick meal alternative to the health food aisle, however I don't believe this would be my first choice taste-wise. I would however buy again, but only if on sale.

Good..

Recieved this box in the mail so thought I'd give it a try. Now while it's not KD white cheddar, I still enjoyed it. It had a great taste and was easy to make. I wouldn't pay what they're selling it for, I think it's way over priced, but overall a tasty product.

Not our favorite

We tried this one but the kids didn’t love it. They didn’t like the shells texture and they thought it looked different with it being white

Kids passed on it

I'm not sure why my kids weren't fans, but it could be the more chalky cheese taste. I felt there wasn't much flavor at all. It tasted almost, artificial. I think white cheddar is hard to pull off, and so while it was a good effort, it didn't meet our expectations.

Horray for Mac and Cheese

This is so easy to make. The taste is not much different than the original. My kids like the different noodles in this mac and cheese. One box can feed approx 2-3 children. Great product to pack for their school lunches.

Could be better...

I was always curious about Annie's White Cheddar Mac & Cheese.
This was the perfect occasion to put it to the test.

Unfortunately, it was disappointing... The texture was off and very liquid. It will definitely not replace my KD white cheddar.

Good but not great

I usually love white cheddar Mac and cheese. My kids did not finish theirs because they were not a fan of shells or taste. It was very easy to make and very time efficient for a quick meal but we would prefer the cheddar one better.

Nice but not as nice

The noodles are great! But the cheese powder is such a mellow flavour, that you cam barely taste it. Also, once it is blended in it kind of goes greasy instead of creamy. Its not bad, but definitely not a nice, creamy pasta dish. The other issue is that the boxes really don't hold much. To feed even small children around 5 is fine to feed 3, maybe 4, but for adults or preteens 1 box barely feeds 2.

Nice Change

This was a nice change from regular mac and cheese. We enjoyed the flavour. The kids said it is the right amount of cheesy. It's quick and easy to make which makes it perfect for a busy family.
