A good product that's not chalky!

A good product that's not chalky! While not a product I use often (only when I feel a cold sore coming on / have a cold sore) I was highly pleased by this brand. It's encapsulated so it's easy to swallow with no chalking taste or texture. It appeared to have been able to stop my "on coming" cold sore before it erupted which set the bar high for me. Would buy this product.

Great product with so much nutritional benefits

I didn’t realize that L-Lysine had so any nutritional benefits, including helping with immune system support, especially when your stress and collagen production. I will definitely be using this in the future!!

Canadian brand

I really love supporting Canadian brands and found this brand so I was excited to try them out! While I haven’t had a cold sore recently, I do find that this amino acid helps me feel better.

The product I've been waiting for!

I have suffered from cold sores for years, usually triggered by high stress, getting sick, or extreme temperatures exposure. They are painful, uncomfortable, and always make me feel a bit self conscious. I’ve used prescriptions like Valacyclovir and Acyclovir before that have helped during outbreaks, but I was looking for a high quality supplement for long-term prevention. I am very excited about AOR L-Lysine. It’s an essential amino acid produced from biofermentation that helps reduce the recurrence, severity, and healing time of sores, plus it helps with collagen formation! It's a win win! I’ve been taking it and I’m genuinely impressed as I got sick three weeks ago, and I haven't had an outbreak at all. It feels very promising. The capsules are easy to swallow and have no strong smell or taste. They are vegan, non-GMO and gluten free making them accessible to a wider range of people. It's a bit of a commitment since the label says to take 2 capsules three times daily (6 total), but if it keeps working this well, it’s 100% worth it! Important things to combat a cold sore is listening to the signs that one is coming in and acting quickly. After first icing the area, I always take llysine , tybut found that even when feeling under the weather taking llysine helps reduce the number of cold sores I get.
This is a staple in my house hold and even have one at work to ensure I’m always ready!

Proven to reduce the severity of cold sores

I’ve experienced cold sores a while back ago. During the cold sores symptom appeared, I only took a painkiller to sooth the discomfort that it caused. I let my body heals the cold sore naturally without taking any immune support or any supplement. At that time it took about 10 days of my body to healed it properly. Since the cold sore is healed completely now. I am interested to try a health supplement that will reduce the severity and healing time, if the cold sores appear again. The symptom of cold sores, as much as I knew, will likely to recurrence once the body experience low immune system, fighting some sort of illness, or due to stress. So next time if my cold sores symptoms appear again, I will definitely take AOL L-Lysine as an essential amino acid supplement that helps reduce the recurrence, severity, and healing time.
