Lightweight Litter

We recently had the opportunity to try Arm & Hammer Hardball Clumping Litter for free in exchange for an honest review. Before sharing our thoughts, we let the cat use it for a full day to see how it held up.
The cleanup was quick, easy and messy-free! Great odour control and low dust formula. We will definitely consider purchasing this in the future!

Hard Clumps and Sandy Litter

Thank you Butterly for sending me this product free to test and review. I have used it for a week now and here are my thoughts: - extremely hard clumps which clump better than 90% of other litters I have tried -not compatible with triple layer litter boxes that sift, which I have. It clogged up all of the holes. -sandy litter -doesn't smell as bad as clay litters I used in the past -cat is tracking litter all over and into my bed I gave up on clumping litters ages ago and switched to newspaper pellets. I find the pellets don't track around the house and it's not hard to keep tidy. I wanted to try this litter, hoping it would be good for me and my cat, but I am still not moved to switch off of the pellets.

Cats hated it

I walked into my local Walmart (something I did not normally do) with my coupon to redeem my box which I got one of the last boxes so I lucked out there! I went to the store next door to get a second box as my one cat has been having behavioural issues since we got our service pup so I thought maybe a second bin may help. When I got it home and opened up the box my nose was offended with that oh so familiar childhood scent of flintstone vitamins almost overpowering. I put some of the sacraments from the other bin into this one and while both will step into it but neither will use it. It may be because we have used pine pellets for a few years or the scent is over powering and I have never used scented litter with them. This may work better with cats who are used to scented litters. Scented litter is not good for male cats and there was zero warning on the box that it's scented

Our cat refused

I received a coupon for a box of Arm and Hammer Hardball Lightweight Cat Litter for my honest review. I wish I could review how effective it was but unfortunately our cat flat out refused to use it. He went to it and smelled it and meow repeatedly then went and laid in the corner until we switched it back to the other Arm and Hammer Multi Cat.

Litter really lasts long

Other than than this litter having an extremely strong scent and being a little messy it works pretty darn good!
Unlike other clumping litter this stuff actually stays together when you scoop it, and doesn't leave little particles behind. It has more of a jelled consistency when the urine hits it.
I have 2 cats and I clean my litter daily and have to admit it smells as fresh as the day I put it in 7 days plus later.
Originally was very difficult to find in store but was glad when I finally did.
Super excited to have been given this opportunity to test and review this litter for free in exchange for my honest opinion.

Best clumping aroun!

Great clumping litter. Cuts the pungent cat pee smell to nothing. Great for multi-cat households. The only downside is the price point. I will definitely keep a box around to use when I am expecting company. Otherwise I'll stick to my financially effective cat litter :)
Cleaning is a breeze, though it does get stuck harder and needs more effort if left for half a day. But it is something I can live with, given the odor control and clumping ability.

Love it

I was offered this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I am definitely recommending this cat litter. My cats are picky but also have some health issues so we are very selective of products we use . I was a bit nervous with this litter having a want but was pleasantly surprised that it it’s really strong and over powering. It’s quite nice. This litter clumped up nicely and was easy to scoop. I have already purchased another box and will continue to use.

It’s ok, but not magic

This is a decent litter choice in terms of quality, but I wouldn’t say it meets the claims completely. I love that it’s lightweight and easier to pour - beneficial for those with mobility concerns. It does create firm clumps making cleanup easy and reduces the mess. While the product claims up to 20 days of odor control, I don’t feel it effectively neutralizes strong odors as it claims. I could never leave my litter that long between changes anyways. It’s ok, but not a magical replacement. Especially given the cost vs other Arm and Hammer products.

Smells good at first

At first, the smell is amazing and makes really nice clumps. However, after about 2-3 litterbox changes, the smell wasn't fresh anymore and the odor was horrendous. Even when mixed with liter as advertised to do, the smell is really bad. Not sure if I'll be repurchasing as the price doesn't fit the cost of the odor it produces. It also makes a lot of mess around the litterbox that needs to be swept everyday.
