    Didn’t get used

So the first problem was trying to find the product. It seems that my Walmart never had it. I made a trip to the city to find it. I love how light it is and that there is no dust. I was hoping this was going to be my new litter but not so much. 3 days went by and it didn’t get used. I have two cats and they only used the box with their original litter. I had to go back to their original litter as I didn’t want them to get mad at me.

    Lightweight but messy

At first I was excited to try this product due to the lightweight of the package. Did not realize there is a scent to the litter. At first it wasn't to bad but a smell that lingers. Not a great litter for people with carpet. Litter travels on cats feet and sticks to paws. Great absorbency and little waste with other litter not attached to pet fecies

    Lightweight but tracks a lot.

Super light weight which is a plus but it tracks all over the house. Has a strong fragrance smell but clumps reasonably well. If you’re okay with that then it would be a good litter.

    Hard Clumps and Sandy Litter

Thank you Butterly for sending me this product free to test and review. I have used it for a week now and here are my thoughts: - extremely hard clumps which clump better than 90% of other litters I have tried -not compatible with triple layer litter boxes that sift, which I have. It clogged up all of the holes. -sandy litter -doesn't smell as bad as clay litters I used in the past -cat is tracking litter all over and into my bed I gave up on clumping litters ages ago and switched to newspaper pellets. I find the pellets don't track around the house and it's not hard to keep tidy. I wanted to try this litter, hoping it would be good for me and my cat, but I am still not moved to switch off of the pellets.

    It’s ok, but not magic

This is a decent litter choice in terms of quality, but I wouldn’t say it meets the claims completely. I love that it’s lightweight and easier to pour - beneficial for those with mobility concerns. It does create firm clumps making cleanup easy and reduces the mess. While the product claims up to 20 days of odor control, I don’t feel it effectively neutralizes strong odors as it claims. I could never leave my litter that long between changes anyways. It’s ok, but not a magical replacement. Especially given the cost vs other Arm and Hammer products.

    Smells good at first

At first, the smell is amazing and makes really nice clumps. However, after about 2-3 litterbox changes, the smell wasn't fresh anymore and the odor was horrendous. Even when mixed with liter as advertised to do, the smell is really bad. Not sure if I'll be repurchasing as the price doesn't fit the cost of the odor it produces. It also makes a lot of mess around the litterbox that needs to be swept everyday.

    It was okay

I received this item for free in exchange for my honest review. This cat litter eliminates odour better than my any litter I have ever used. I didn’t find the scent to strong. I found this cat litter was just ok for cleaning. It clumped good. The one thing I didn’t like was the price, it is way, way to expensive for the amount of litter you actually got. If it was cheaper I would definitely recommend.

    Good but expensive.

I recently tried the ARM & HAMMER™ HardBall™ Clumping Litter and there are definitely some pros and cons. What I like most is that it's virtually dust-free, which is a huge win compared to many other litters. The litter itself is made up of tiny, lightweight balls that are easy to scoop, and the clumps are impressively solid—almost like soft rubber once wet. That said, when it does clump, it can stick quite stubbornly to the bottom of the litter box, which makes cleanup a little more work than I expected.

One of the biggest positives is that I haven't noticed any odours at all. The freshness claim of up to 20 days actually seems legit. It's also noticeably lighter than traditional clay litter, which makes it easier to handle and pour.

However, the price is where I’m hesitant. A 10lb box costs $28, and depending on how often your cat uses the litter box, you could be spending $42–$56 a month. For comparison, Pretty Litter is around $30/month per cat—I usually spend about $35–40/month for my one cat, so it’s not a major jump, but still enough to make me question if it’s worth the switch.

Overall, this litter performs well in terms of odour control and cleanliness, but whether it's worth the higher cost will depend on your budget and how much litter your cat typically goes through.

    Not right for me

I was excited to try Arm & Hammers Hardball Clumping Litter! When I found out I was selected to try it free, I jumped at the opportunity!
My initial thought was "boy this is expensive." At 25 dollars the product covered the bottom of ny large corner catbox. It was very light and easy to carry. After a day I noticed th3 clumps encompassed all the cat urine in a hard ball. This is incredible! When I went to scoop it the urine was completely contained! I must say though with 2 cats there were many of these large clumps and after 4 days the cat litter had reduced in the cat box...by quite a bit. After a week it was very low.
I do think this would be ideal for a one cat household. Easy to use easy to clean up. When changing the litter completely there is absolutley no urine smell! A+ for this. Unfortunately in my home it doesn't work for us. 25 dollars every week is not affordable for a lower middle class family. It's definitely a fantastic invention and I highly recommend this to one cat families.

My cats did not prefer this to their normal litter

I actually did a blind test for my cats where I put thier normal litter and this litter next to eachother to see which they would choose. Every time they went for their old litter. In order to get them to try it, I put the litter box with this litter inside of their old litter box so they had to use it, and while I did get one pee ball, they just decided to poop outside of the litter box than poop in this littler. My one cat has longer hair and its light weight made it get stuck in her hair very easily when she peed in it, so she was just covered in the little granials afterwards. It captured the pee as expected however because of the reasons previously mentioned I do not think I will be purchasing it going forwards.
