Not a big fan.

I found this litter very dust free, which was awesome. Super light, which was also awesome. But when cleaning my litter box the clumps were more like a dried slime and stuck to everything. Felt very rubbery.

Not great litter

I put this out for my cats to try and they barely went near it, instead preferring to use their old litter. The "hardball" feature doesn't really make the clumps any different than normal litter, as you can see in the photo, and the fine grain of the litter gets everywhere. The one cat who peed in there tracked it all over the house.

Can't say I would recommend.

My cat didn't love it...

I gave the Arm & Hammer Hardball Clumping Litter 2 stars because my cat did not like the litter so I had to mix it with his old stuff. This litter is very fine and almost a sand like texture and color. Therefore, it is quite dusty. It does clump like it claims though the scent is quite strong at the start and my cat was also hesitant about that! Overall, I will not be purchasing this this but am thankful I got the opportunity to try it!

Alright

Unfortunately our cats were not a fan of this product and we werent either. The smell was extremely over powering and the product was a grainy sand consistency, the box was also not filled very much

Not what I was expecting

I wanted to love this product so much. I hated the smell. The litter was very scented. It was hard to leave 4 boxes for 7 days. My husband usually doesn’t say much about litter but he hated this one. The cats tracked a lot of the litter through the house.

The one positive is that it was virtually dustless.

Cats hated it

I walked into my local Walmart (something I did not normally do) with my coupon to redeem my box which I got one of the last boxes so I lucked out there! I went to the store next door to get a second box as my one cat has been having behavioural issues since we got our service pup so I thought maybe a second bin may help. When I got it home and opened up the box my nose was offended with that oh so familiar childhood scent of flintstone vitamins almost overpowering. I put some of the sacraments from the other bin into this one and while both will step into it but neither will use it. It may be because we have used pine pellets for a few years or the scent is over powering and I have never used scented litter with them. This may work better with cats who are used to scented litters. Scented litter is not good for male cats and there was zero warning on the box that it's scented

not impressed

I received this Arm and Hammer Hardball lightweight clumping cat litter Free in exchange for my honest opinion. This was so hard to find in stores, and I finally found some, but was shocked how expensive this is. This is 2x the price of regular clay litters at most stores. I like the weight of the package, that was a nice change, but opening that box was a challenge. I would hope they make easy tear packs or some other container in future. Next the product looks like sand, feels like a sand or even sawdust mixture. I didn't examine it further the package might tell me but I want to get my thoughts out first. Through trying to find this in store I read the reviews others have posted at several places and it worried me. Many claimed it was sticking to their cats paws and they were concerned about the cat ingesting this while bathing. That alarmed me and I decided I would test this with water first myself. I can see what others mean when I added the litter to the tray and then added water this became a gooey clumping mess. I tried scooping the litter with my regular cat litter scoop and it stuck really thickly to the scoop. Seeing this I do not believe I would try this on animals. I appreciate that others may feel this product is great, and works as it claims, but I would not put an animal in something that is possibly going to stick on their fur or paws and they ultimately ingest it. This is a definite pass for me and my pet.

Did not Love

I did not like this product. My cats did not enjoy the smell or the feeling on their paws. It clumps weird and smells bad. I would not recommend this product

I do not like this at all I would not recommend it to anyone I don't like the way it works I don't like the way it smells it doesn't do anything that the commercial show that it does
