While I did play the guitar for a while as a youth, I'm not in any way a musician and am currently trying to learn to play the Uke. These picks are quite hard and stiff, rather than being more flexible, but that's all included in the description. True to word, I found they feel pretty durable, the image doesn't feel like it's going to peel and after quite a bit of strumming, I didn't notice any damage or problems with it.

I was surprised with the amount you get in this! Design wise, the single figures stand out a lot better than the crowd scenes, which don't fit on the picks as well, but it's all up to personal taste. My own favourite was The Girl With The Pearl Earring (with Mona coming a close second) as I felt she just stole the show, perfectly centered and staring out at you from the pick. These would make a great gift for a musician, but could also be used to make a number of cool DIY projects as well.

After reading the other review here, I went back to take a second whiff of the included pick keychain storage. There is a little bit of a smell, but holding it a hands-width away from the nose, mine couldn't be smelled at all, only up very close. The keychain itself can't hold all the picks, but is great for holding on or two for on the go.

Absolutely love the little tin, the closing mechanism means it won't randomly open in your case and spill your picks (or plectrums as we call them where I'm from) everywhere. Very cute and functional set!

    + Features Popular designs.
+ Image is properly sealed on the pick and didn't show signs of damage after intensive strumming.
+ Tin has special closure to keep picks from spilling out, but is still easy and quick to open!
+ Comes with bonus keychain to carry one or two picks with you.

    - Design wise, crowd scene paintings look a little cut off and not as striking as the single figure paintings.
