Love Having A Refill Option

I received this ​Refill Pouch of the Aveeno Calm + Restore Oat Cleanser for free to try in exchange for my honest review through Butterly #gotitfree. This is not my first time using Aveeno refill pouches, I have also used their body wash pouches. These are quick and easy to use and this one for the cleanser was actually easier to open than the body wash one. It used to be a pull tab on the inside of the cap to break the seal but now it's on a small plastic nub on the outside that you snap off. For me this took a lot less effort. I love that these pouches hold 2X the amount of product because not only is it cutting down on plastic consumption, it's also saving me trips to the store. I love knowing I have a refill available for when I run out. I do like that the pouch is using 80% less plastic than buying 2 regular bottles and it's made with 30% post-consumer plastic. I do however wish the pouch itself was recyclable. The cleanser is a good cleanser if you have dry or sensitive skin. It is pretty different from other cleansers on the market. This one does not suds up or foam. The texture is like a melted cleansing balm or oil. I was impressed by how easily it washes off even though it has that milky cleansing balm texture. It is very hydrating and gentle.

Great Idea 💡

I love the idea of having a refillable pouch for a product. I gave the idea a 5 star review because it's a great one in my opinoin. The product it carries, unfortunately is subpar at best.

I love refills!

I was surprised that the product I received came with a refill pouch. Sweet!

Texture is smooth, and very gentle on your skin. I've been using it for the past 4 days (2x a day) and it did not cause any irritation or dried out my face. There is a subtle smell of oat (key ingredient) which some people may like, but I am not a fan of.

Iove this pouch refill because I will not have to buy bottles all the time

It's very easy to transfer the cleanser to your bottle, no mess at all.

So gentle and calming

This cleanser refill is a good idea in theory. I’m so happy to have received this full size as a sample to test on my skin. It’s great that they use less materials in the packaging than the regular plastic bottle that you use daily. It’s less convenient than the pump however you could still he just the pouch if you wanted to be even more environmentally friendly. I love that this is so gentle on the skin but also leave you feeling squeaky clean!

Great Eco-Friendlier Refill to Your Cleanser

I love how Aveeno has decided to incorporate refill pouches for their products. Especially after trying the Aveeno Calm + Restore Nourishing Oat Facial Cleanser, I will definitely be purchasing this pouch and refilling my bottle. I'm always looking for better eco-friendly alternatives, and Aveeno has spiked my interest with their refill pouches!

Gentle cleanser :)

I got this #freeproduct from @butterly for @Aveeno #oatfacialcleanser. I want to say that I love how gentle and natural the cleanser is for your skin. Free of chemicals and better for skin especially if you have eczema, dry skin or prone to breakouts from other skincare cleansers. I LOVE that there’s an refill pouch as there’s a lot for my family and I to share and enjoy! Definitely recommend for everyone to try out!

Eco friendly addition

I am so thankful for this ecofriendly refill pouch. Not only will it save me a trip to the store when I need more cleanser, it is stopping the need for replacing an already great bottle !
