Very Soothing, Calms, Reduces Eczema Symptoms

I received this Aveeno product #gotitfree from #chickadvisor to #tryforfree as a tester and then to do this review.

I have mild to moderate Eczema on my hands and lower arms and elbows. I do use a prescribed cream, but it doesn't do much for actually repairing the skin and I found that the Aveeno Balm made my skin very supple and soft and no itch at all. The redness was still there a bit, but in the winter my Eczema is a lot worse, especially with dry cold air.

I applied the Aveeno balm 2-3 times a day. Always after my bath as well, and I was blown away at how well it controlled the scaly, cracked skin and made my totally itch free.

I also am happy about how far a small amount of the balm goes. This 311 gram container will last me a good amount of time. I am very impressed and will definitely buy this again. It is a great product to have sitting next to my prescribed cream. I did find that I didn't need to use my prescribed cream nearly as often as I usually do.

I used this Aveeno Eczema Care Itch relief balm for 10 days on one hand and only my prescribed cream for 10 days on the other hand.. My one hand was soooo... itchy .. The overall health of my skin was a million times better in both look and feel with using the Aveeno.

A Definite Winner in the Battle Against Dry, Itchy Skin

I was fortunate to be able to try this product courtesy of Chick Advisor. As someone who not only gets very dry, sore, itchy skin in the winter but experiences patches of eczema around my ears, this was a welcome opportunity.

First, this product is very moisturizing; it's a rich, thick cream that does feel like it takes awhile to absorb but, once it does it's very effective at remedying dryness. I also found it very soothing, it definitely relieved the itchy soreness of my worst dry spots. In terms of my eczema around the ears, I noticed it eliminated the sore, flaky spots completely in about 3 days.

I was happy to note that this cream is very natural and has no fragrance which in my opinion often adds to irritation. This cream is definitely going on my list of must haves, particularly in the winter when I tend to struggle with my skin.

My partner, son and myself all struggle with dry skin and I personally have eczema. An on again, off again struggle I've had my whole life. I did like this product due to irrititaed skin. Which is a on going thing. I found that this does sooth the skin do what I was satisfied. But I found that the lotion did not feel the greatest on the skin. And it felt very sticky

My husband and I tried this over a week period. I really like the consistency and the non greasy feel. My skin felt really soft and silky after I put it on. I have really dry legs and very sensitive as I had eczema badly awhile back. Since then I still use quality cream on my legs. I really like this product.

My husband thought it worked amazing. He has very very dry skin especially on his arms. He said it was really the first time he’s put a cream on his arms to try and fix it and it works! He’s very happy.

Great value for large size container!

When I first received this eczema treatment I was really excited. My family and I live in Northern Alberta, Canada and we have quite the harsh winters. I get seasonal eczema and my husband has it year round.

The lotion comes in a large tub and there is quite a bit of product in it, which in my opinion is a great value! Aveeno is a trusted brand in my home so I was impressed that they finally came out with an eczema treatment lotion.

The lotion itself is more of a body butter than a lotion which is nice, especially since you don't need much to cover a lot of an affected area. It doesn't have a smell and is velvety smooth.

Upon application, I tried it on my hands where I get seasonal eczema, and it spread easy but I did find it did leave a bit of a greasy film on my skin. It worked like a charm though. My husband tried his on his eczema and had the same result.

All in all, I would recommend this product to people who are prone to eczema.

Works amazing!

I had the opportunity to try this product for free from Chick Advisor. Both my daughter and I suffer from mild eczema and this cream definitely was the best we have ever used. It was very lightweight and easy to apply. It absorbed well and didn’t leave your skin feeling oily or greasy. The container it comes in is quite large and since you only need a small amount because it is so lightweight I can see it lasting a long time. It is very well priced from the quality and quantity you get.

Simply the best

I was picked by ChickAdvisor to try this product Aveeno Eczema Care Itch Relief Balm I was amazed at how well it worked I had a few red patches of dry itchy skin on my legs and they were always so itchy I had tried other creams and had no relief I had tried this Aveeno Eczema Care Itch Relief Balm and I put it on the patches twice a day in the morning and in the night. I couldn't believe the results in a week my patches were almost gone and the itching had stopped right away and it leaves your skin so moisturized. I will definately be purchasing this product it is truly unbelievable. I had told my family about it and my friends and had showed them the difference and they couldn't get over it either.
