Sensitive skin doesn't react....but it leaves white residue

With sensitive skin, I am always looking out for products that work well that I won't react to. This product does 50% of that for me.

On the positive end: I had no negative skin reaction to this moisturizer. It has no scent and my makeup went on fine with use of a primer.

On the downside: it is a thicker consistency that other moisturizers I have used and therefore more opaque. It didn't spread as nicely on my skin so I had to use more than usual. It also didn't go on smoothly and evenly so I was left with patches of white residue that I had to rub in or off (which I unfortunately noticed throughout my work day). On my skin it had a slight sticky feeling and didn't leave my skin feeling smooth and soft.

I tried this in spring in Canada, so I can't speak to the SPF protection claim.

If someone has really sensitive skin, this may be a great product, but I hate that you might have to trade off quality for having no adverse reactions.

Love it!

I got to this product for free and I love, love, LOVE it! At first, the lotion looks heavy on your skin when you apply it, but it gradually absorbs quite nicely. I love the way it feels on my sensitive skin. It helps calm the blemishes and sooth my dry skin. Plus, it has SPF 30 in it so that's always a winner to help keep a healthy skin! It's not odor free, it has a lovely subtle floral scent. My only complain is that I wish they sold these in a bigger bottle because I feel like I'm going to buy one every month!

Acne Inducing!!

I thought I was quite lucky to #gotthisforfree to try BUT I was wrong. I broke out after using it. And I don't mean I got a couple of zits ... 15 pimples in total, and not the small, easy to conceal ones. It is a thick, heavy facial moisturizer that you feel all day long.

Very disappointed with Aveeno, thought this would be a good go-to daily moisturizer with SPF. With a $19.99 price tag, it seems to be on the higher end of Aveeno products.

However, to be fair, I do break out easily. I make sure to buy oil-free moisturizers that are for sensitive skin. This definitely missed the mark. I'm thinking that the biggest issue was the SPF. If you have skin like me, skip this product!

Moisturized for days!

The Aveeno moisturizing cream is absolutely amazing! I love how it makes my skin feel soft, and doesn’t irritate my skin. The only thing bad thing I have to say about it is if you don’t rub it in it leaves dry white patches. All in all i would definitely buy this and recommend it to friends and family. #gotitfreeee!

Great gentle daily moisturizer

I #gotthisforfree to try. This is a great little mositurzer. Ita non irritating and has sun protection!! I find it did calm my irriated skin down a bit. Hopefully after using it for a longet petiod of time, itll calm my face down even more! I love to use it during the day. Its light and doeant feel heavy. Even my mom likes it. It smells very gentle and it doesnt bother me. I definitely recommend if if youre looking for a simple daily moisturizer!

Too thick

I received the Aveeno ultra calming daily moisturizer with spf 30 in my free Aveeno box sent from Aveeno and Chick Advisor. I used the lotion after using the matching cleanser (which i loved) but wasn't satisfied with the results. I found the lotion to be too thick and it really did not absorb well at all and left a residue feeling. I also didnt notice much of a difference in my skins tone or redness reduction. It may work better for someone with drier skin but this product just wasn't for me. #GotItFree

I would buy this product again

Works well..not greasy no strong scent.someplaces a little pricey.but can get on sale sometimes..great for sensitive skin..would recommend this product to my friends

One of the worst!

This is one of the worst moisturizers I've ever used. I was really excited to use Aveeno because normally their products are quite nice.

This moisturizer was SO hard to blend in, it felt like there was some glue in it. I've never had a problem blending moisturizer in before, it was so strange. It left a white residue on my face in some spots, so I had to blend it in even more. It left my skin feeling DRYER than before.

I used it three mornings in a row just to make sure. One morning I put it on before makeup and my makeup has never looked so patchy, cakey, and texturized before.

I have normal to oily skin, and this left my skin feeling dryer. So if you have dry skin, do not buy this.

Great Daily Moisturizer!

The Daily Moisturizer has SPF 30 to protect my skin during the upcoming sunny days. 🌞 I love how it is also fragrance-free and spreads easily without leaving a white cast on my face. I have used Cerave in the past, but I think I will try using this one after I run out!
