I really liked the idea of this product because it is in a lotion formula and for the price it was worth a shot! However I found that it did a poor job of removing even non-waterproof eye makeup and is not worth it to have to sit on your eye for an extended period of time. When I got some in my eye it burned. And not a little bit, it burned A LOT. My whole eye area was red and I had to flush my eye with water.

Terrible. Leaves you feeling oily and doesnt even take off half of your makeup. if you use it and then wash your face you still feel greasy.

This product is my favorite makeup remover ever. This removes ALL of your makeup with just the size of a nickel. Your vision does become a little blurry if you put too much on your eyes to remove your eye makeup. This product does not make your eyes sting at all. It really does do its job of removing your makeup! Its really cheap too!

I prefer a liquid make-up remover, but for a cream remover I like this. Occasionally it will go on sale for $0.99, so keep an eye out!

I absolutely love this product!! I use it every day and I haven't been able to find a better product for the same price.

I used to be in love with this remover. I don't know if it's because I've tried better or something changed in their formula (probably the first one) but I can't seem to stand this remover anymore. It's a cream consistancy and I find it to be overly greasy. Its not that it doesn't work, cause it eventually cleans off the makeup, but its a mess.. All I wear is liquid liner and mascara..when I use this remover, it literally spreads and drags my eyeliner all across my eye area (I look like a racoon) before finally cleaning it up. I need up to 5 cotton pads to remove my eye make-up when all the other [better] removers I've tried cleans it up with one swipe. (and it's not a question of using less or more, I've tried and it's all the same)

So overall, "moisture effective" is an understatement and this product uses up more cotton pads than necessary..
This has gone from being my favorite to my last resort makeup remover.

When I went to the Ladies Expo a few weeks ago there was an Avon both there. They were selling Avon makeup and some of their other products that they carry. They had surprise gift bags for sale for $5 and $10. I’ve never used Avon before even though they have been around for many many years, so I thought what the heck it can be that bad and I bought a $10 bag. It had well over $10 worth of Avon products inside of the bag and one thing was their Moisture Effective Eye Makeup Remover Lotion. You can buy a 60ml bottle for $3.99 on the Avon web site. I finally gave it a try last night. If it does have a scent to it I couldn’t tell because my allergies have bin acting up and it would have had to bin a pretty strong scent for me to smell it. It’s a nice thick lotion, kind of like a hand lotion, not runny at all. Do to its texture you can either just apply it with your finger tips, or apply some to a cotton pad and then apply it to your eye's. I applied it with my finger tips and I didn’t experience and burning, or stinging as it was working. I could feel my mascara coming off as I gently rubbed it around my eye areas. Then I used a cotton pad to wipe it all off. This part I didn’t care for at all. Yes the lotion and mascara came off onto the pad, but the cotton the pad is made of also came apart getting caught in my eye lashes. It was easy enough to use and fairly effective, but I don’t care for the process of removing mascara with a cotton pad at all. The lotion left my eye’s clean and soft but like I said I don’t care for this process. So I’m on the fence with the Avon’s Moisture Effective Eye Makeup Remover Lotion. For you to like it I believe it would completely depend on how you like to remove your mascara. If you don’t mind using a cotton pad to remove your eye makeup then I say yes give it a try. How ever if your like I am and don’t like to use this process I’d tell you to try something else.

Although this makeup remover can be a little greasy at first it is very effective at removing all types of makeup. It is often on sale so I make sure to stock up on them because they are great. I have sensitive skin and I never seem to have any trouble with this, I find it to be very gentle as it is a creamy lotion like remover, and not a liquid like others that tend to dry out the skin.

I have been using this eye makeup remover for over 2 years and I find it does what it says and it takes off all my wash off mascara with ease.

When I bought this product it was on sale at Avon for $0.99 and its was well spent. When I first used this product I didn't know what to expect from it but I can tell you what I experienced.

First of all it is very light. I used a cotton to apply it to my face and it held pretty well to the cotton. A tiny drop went a long way as it really took the majority of make up out. I went about a second time with a new application and I'd say most of the makeup was removed from my face. I even used it around my eye area and it didn't disappoint; although I felt a little bit of a burning sensation but it wasn't very intense.

After using, I felt that it left my face feeling soft and moisturised. Not dry at all. I would definitely recommend this makeup remover and for the price, you just can't go wrong.
