I've used a variety of dry shampoos in the past, including various Batiste products, however, this is hands-down my favourite dry shampoo of the bunch. The price, quality, and effectiveness of the Dark and Deep Brown Dry Shampoo beats out the competition for all dark-haired individuals like me. Found at $6.99 at occasional Winners/Marshalls/Home Sense stores, this dry shampoo sprays out a dark powder to the roots, which reduces the amount of grey cast a white-powdered-dry-shampoo would normally show. The way I find it works best is to use it the night before, right when you're about to sleep. I find that it stops the amount of oil-buildup while you sleep, rather absorbs it, so that in the morning, you're ready to go. The only downfall I find with this dry shampoo is the smell. I can't quite describe it, but it doesn't necessarily give the clean and refreshed scent that some dry shampoos leave you with.This smell lingers, but if you're able to overcome it, I think the benefits beat out the downfalls. Overall, I highly, highly recommend this product, and will continue purchasing it for years to come.

I was worried that this wouldn't be a good fit for my curly hair. I expected it to dry out my curls and ruin the curl pattern - but it did not.

It left my hair feeling soft, smelling good and clean. I did have to spritz my hair with a little water afterwards to refresh my look, but other than that it worked well.

I would use and buy again!

I usually find baby powder is the best form of dry shampoo and was pleasantly surprised with the effectiveness of this one. The formula is brown and certainly eliminates the problem of having to blend light powders into dark hair. In terms of effectiveness, using this buys me one extra day in between washes. However, this is a strong chemical smell that I'm not a huge fan of.

The last dry shampoo I had left a white residue on my hair and I vowed not to ever use dry shampoo again but after trying this new product I think I have found THE ONE. I love it and that is in deep brown tint for my dark hair and to darken my scalp especially good for people if they want to cover up any dandruff, flakes, or just an oil scalp. It absorbs all the stuff you don't want and leaves you looking refreshed before wash day. If anyone were to ask me for the best dry shampoo, I would for sure let them know about the Batiste Dry Shampoo Dark and Deep Brown. LOVE IT

I received this product for free to try out and give my honest opinion . I didnt find that it helped my hair all that much , but its not bad . My hair still looked a little greasy .

This worked really well if you like the idea of dry shampoo altogether. I though it was cool that it has a tint to it so it doesn't show up white like some others.

I recieved this product for free from Chick Advisor to review. I'm glad I recieved this product because I'm always looking for a great dry shampoo, and I really like this one. There's little blending needed to make sure the product is really in there and not visible, which I love! It does it job, and adds volume. Bonus, it smells great but it's not overwhelming! I don't have anything bad to say about it.

I have tried many dry shampoos from the drugstore before and have never found one that worked as amazing as this one.A lot of the dry shampoos I have used in the past made my hair feel more greasy and just wevent doing what I needed from a dry shampoo.This one is hands down THE best dry shampoo I have tried.First off it smells amazing which is a huge bonus because some dry shampoos smell awful, but it literally just sucks up any oil or grease and makes your hair refreshed and gives it tons of volume and makes it look like you just washed it and blow dried it.I also love using this on clean hair just to give my hair more volume.Overall I absolutely loved this product and will 100% purchase it again.

I had never tried the Dark and Deep Brown one before, but it has become a favourite. It's a great product, I will recommend to all my dark haired friends. It leaves hair feeling clean and it volumizes my hair very nicely as well, the smell is a little strong as it usually is with Batiste products, nothing most people can't handle though.

I'm definitely going to buy this when I run out, it would be great to use if I'm in a rush and my roots look a little too shiny. The smell is pretty too, I'm inlove.
