To be fair this product did nothing to my hair. On the other hand this product worked great for my brother.

Batiste Original is a classic solution for maintaining hair freshness between washes. It is great to see that they are still around and that they have updated the line. Simply use the dry shampoo, instead of washing, for styling hair or in combination with styling products.

I liked this product. I have thick hair, so I had use quite a bit on the roots. For the price I ould only use it in a pinch, but I did like the results

itried this product after giving birth of my son, b/c in my culture tradition, woman can not wash hair within one month after birth. However it was not effective as I expected. After using this product, I can still feel my hair tangled and oil.

This does what its supposed to do. It's a dry shampoo that makes my hair look less greasy, but it has such a strong odour that it gives me a terrible headache and it leaves a heavy residue on my hair, leaving it heavy and with the illusion of a helmet head.... not a fan.

I bought this at Winners not long ago. I'm not a fan of the smell. I find it to be very overpowering. As a dry shampoo I would say this is 'ok'. I had heard rave reviews about it before purchasing it, but in my opinion, I've purchased better dry shampoos and had much better results.

I used the dry shampoo every other day in between shampoo. My roots gets greasy pretty quickly. The dry shampoo spray when applied on my roots was effective at getting another day out of my hair but only lasted for about half day and then would get even more greasy than normal. So if you're expecting an entire day out of it you might end up disappointed. It would be good for an evening

The Pros:

- Trusted brand
- Can fit in my purse for on the go fixes.


The Cons:

- Scent was a little too overpowering and flowery for me.
- It made my hair feel heavy.
- It made my hair feel powdery to the touch.


I really didn't notice enough of a difference in my hair to make me want to actually purchase this product.

The Batista Dry Shampoo was effective but I prefer a dry shampoo with colouring to use on my new root growth between colours. I also do not like the scent.
