Not Cruelty Free?

The Batiste waterless cleansing foam is an interesting idea and I certainly like the idea of using this over a spray as it seems it would be more moisturizing. It goes on sort of wet, but it really does dry quickly, So that's not an issue. I'm not the biggest fan of this hibiscus scent as I find it a little artificial and strong. It did make my hair feel soft moisturized and clean though, so it definitely delivers on the refresh.

I was under the impression that this company was cruelty free. I'm pretty sure that used to have some labelling to that effect on their cans. Having said that I see nothing of the sort on this can. Therefore, I cannot recommend this as I make it a point to use cruelty-free products. This will not be getting added to my regular routine.

Not a fan

I was so excited when I saw this product and concept until I used it. Maybe u don't have the correct hair type for it but I don't find it absorbed oil the way traditional dry shampoo does.

This foam is super lightweight and dries quickly as you work it into your hair. It doesn’t do much in terms of volume but it did make my hair look cleaner and feel refreshed. The scent is nice and light and made my hair smell great! Unlike typical dry shampoo, this cleanser doesn’t seem to soak up oil or add any grit, so if your hair is oily, this might not be the product for you.

Illusion in a bottle!

I received this product to try out for free in the mail and I ended up using it on four-old day hair.
For one, I love how weightless the foam is. The mousse is so light and airy. Goes on wet but dries incredibly fast, making it very easy for a quick hair refresh. It gave my hair that clean shine I get when I actually do wash my hair. 
The scent is also really nice. The smell is fresh, but subtle. Every now and then I will get a waft of it during the day, and I am a huge fan of subtle, lingering hair scents!
Also, it's nice that I don't have to worry about any white residue left over in my hair or clothes that I tend to get from other dry powder shampoos. The only thing I would say is missing is the volumizing aspect I would normally get from a dry shampoo. 
But overall, I feel this product is a pretty good for refreshing hair in-between washes. I believe it does everything that it claims to do and is worth giving a try. 

 

Works but leaves a residue

This does seem odd, add foam/liquid to your already oily hair. It does work. So the foam does come out like a mousse foam, rub it into your hair. Keep working it in till it's all gone. It will help with the oil, but I do find it leave a residue. I wouldn't use this when my hair is very oily, or if I also needed a boost of volume at the roots, this won't do it. Need your hair to look better in a pony tail, or an up do, this will work. There's generally a powdery residue in you hair after use a dry shampoo, this one will also leave a residue, but it's not the same. I don't like the feeling of it in my hair. So I do prefer using a powder dry shampoo product.

Unlike the dry shampoos by Batiste, which are pretty scented, this one has a lighter scent. The scent is a nice, light, sweet, not very flowery scent. I'm not a big fan of flowery scents, so I was surprised with this one.

Great Smell and Product

I have long, dyed, very fine hair that gets greasy quickly at the roots while staying dry at the ends.

The biggest pro to this product was the smell. It smells SO good! Other things I enjoyed about it was ease of use. It comes out as a thick foam that you rub into your hair. Therefore, I had zero problems with the white residue that a dry shampoo normally would leave on my dark roots.

The product does weigh my super fine hair down a bit. But not in a heavy greasy way. I actually like how my hair sits with a bit of weight to it.

I will be purchasing this product.

Je n’étais pas convaincue du tout par un shampoing sec en mousse, et pourtant! J’ai été agréablement surprise! Le produit est efficace et il sens merveilleusement bon! Je vais assurément essayer les autres fragrances!

Interesting Concept

I’m not going to lie, I was a little bit skeptical about this product before using it but it worked very well!!! The scent is very pretty, would definitely try other scents as well. Glad I received this one free to try, I love Batiste and I would buy this one again.

I received the Cleansing Foam from ChickAdvisor, for free, in exchange for an honest review.
I did like using it, but it did feel a little heavy and the smell was a little strong, at first. I would use it again, just in smaller amounts. I'd definitely recommend this to a family member who loves using Batiste products.

Retouche en un clin d’œil

J’ai reçu la mousse nettoyante sans eau racine d’hibiscus gratuitement en échange de mon évaluation grâce à Batiste Canada et ChickAdvisor. Dans mon rythme de vie familial assez rapide, je passe souvent à besoins en dernier plan. J’ai donc découvert le shampooing sec depuis quelque temps. Essayer la mousse nettoyante était donc chose facile pour moi. J’ai d’abord adoré la présentation du produit, ainsi que la mention de séchage rapide. La mousse quant à elle a une belle densité et une odeur beaucoup moins prononcée que le shampooing sec en aérosol. Elle est facile d’application et sèche rapidement tel que promis. J’ai par contre besoin d’en utiliser une plus grande quantité pour bien compléter l’effet nettoyant et mat jusqu’à la racine de mes cheveux. Pour une somme de 9,98$ soit le même montant que le shampooing sec standard dans la plupart des magasins je pense que personnellement je choisirais la formule aérosol. Je suis cependant très contente d’avoir découvert une nouvelle option moins odorante et aussi efficace pour mes matins pressés.
