I bought this product when I was pregnant with my second child. My stretch marks from my first child were just finally starting to clear up when I got pregnant. The second time around my stomach stretched so much quicker and was constantly itchy which in turn aggrevated my ever-growing marks. I started using the product and it really helped to sooth the itchy skin. I still gained more stretch marks and it seems to be working slowly but it is also hard to say as time has also worked on my stretch marks. The product feels greasy when you first put it on but dries up quick, I would apply the product long before you plan to get dressed or use it at night (which is when I would apply it). My husband and I also found another use for it - it works AMAZINGLY on really dry and tough skin, i.e. feet!! My feet are always cracking in the heels and it really helps to get that extra moisutre there....:)

Ever since I hit puberty, I have getting bad stretch marks on my thighs and my breasts. I'm not overweight and I didn't know what to do to get rid of them. I bought Bio-Oil and have been applying it every day for about 3 weeks. It has an oily feel to it, but my skin absorbs it fairly easily. I haven't noticed a drastic difference but it is recommanded to wait 3 months. I will continu to apply it. I'm satisfied with this product.

I've had to recently stop using the Bio-Oil. Its been creating zits on the areas I've been applying it.

I'm quite disappointed that it didn't work as well as I would have hoped.

    I used this while pregnant.

I used it twice a day starting from about 13 weeks all the way till birth, I then still used it after birth(few times a week). I found it helped prevent stretch marks and lighten already there stretch marks. It took awhile for it to soak into my skin, which was a pain but it left my skin soft, had a slight scent which I didn't mind. I found it worked better than palmer's cocoa butter, which I found over greasy and did nothing but irritated my skin and cause it to itch (which when your pregnant, you already itch enough from dry skin).

I saw this at Walmart for $8 so I thought sure why not. I have tried to use it during my post-parturm - on my tummy but I didnt see any effect. Then a few months later I had very dry skin patch on my cheeks. After using this for about a week it went away. Great product but I afraid to use it too often because I am worry about breaking out.

Now what intrigued me to this product was the claim that was a good moisturizer - I cannot comment on whether or not it helps with stretch marks because I do not have any (at the moment!)

While I did find the liquid application a tad odd to apply, I use it after the shower as a moisturizer (usually in the fall/winter when my skin is dry). I find that as a moisturizer, it is great and my skin usually feels taut afterwards. I did wish that it was sold unfragranced, because I am not a HUGE fan of the scent, but I can live with it! I also wish the price was lower because at $12.99 for the small bottle, it is pricey. I would say to give it a try - there are lots of good reviews on how it heals dry skin and assists with uneven skin tone and stretch marks! Worse comes to worse, it just ends up being a pricey moisturizer for you! Try to pick it up when it goes on sale (often) for $9.99!

I just gave birth top my second child! unfortunately i did get stretch marks from both of my pregnancies! i found bio oil worked, slowly but surely on the stretch marks the first time as long as you remember and keep up with it twice a day. it does take some time but it does lessen their appearance! this time around, unfortunately im pretty busy with a 3yr old and newborn, but i try to use it at least once a day and its starting to work now... (its been 7 weeks 4 days since i had my son) It is a little oily so i usually use it before bed so i dont notice that my belly is all slippery, lol but its nice to knwo that it works! if the makers of bio oil came out with a lotion that was less oily and messy, i would run out and buy it for sure!

After our post on the five different uses of Bio oil and after receiving this product to review, I decided to give it a try and use it for anything I could think of. What I love about Bio-Oil is the fact that it is a great all purpose moisturizer for almost any and everything. I used Bio Oil as an after sun lotion for my burn and it didn't prevent peeling but it did soothe and did make my skin softer.

My favourite use for bio oil is for a make up remover. It does a really great job and ges rid of everything quite easily and is great as an under eye cream too. I have also started it using it at night in my dry ends in my hair at night then I wash it out in the morning. So far, it is helping but I find it helps mostly immediately after putting it in my hair- bio oil absorbs pretty fast.

It definitely is a great produc to have in your medicine cabinet and I am really happy I got to try this product out!

I'm currently using Bio-oil on a scar from a surgery. The scar is old but I thought I would give it a shit anyways. I have noticed that within the first 2 weeks, my scar has softened. I'm going to continue using it for 3 months to see what happens.

Bio-Oil is advertised to treat scars, stretch marks, uneven skin tone, aging skin and dehydrated skin. I used Bio-Oil on a 3 inch long scar from ankle surgery. The oil takes any itch away from the area that is caused by tight skin. It also moisturizes the scar. After a month of use, the scar is less noticeable.

I used and still occasionally use this product on surgical scars. It seemed to take the redness away and kept the scar area moist. While it doesn't take the scar line away, it does do a great job at reducing the appearance of it.
